  1. one is a R32 ecu and the other is a R33 ecu.
  2. what size are the JZA80 injectors?
  3. I need a GTR Power FC for R33 GTR pref sydney but post is okay if you are a trusted seller cheers
  4. buy them. they will be fine. they are the same injector as the Nismo's !!! with the V44 you have to run high imp injectors. if you want to run low you can but you need to convert the system over which is not needed for these injectors because they are high imp injectors for RB25DET. just ask the guy who is selling them if they are a 4 hole injector, if they are then the spray pattern will be good. also double check that they are high imp. also double check with him that they are not high flowed standard injectors and they are the HKS branded ones. if all this checks out okay then just buy them and stop wasting time
  5. the V88 has a adapter loom available from the dealer you purchase the ecu from. ask him about it when you get a quote for the ecu. cheers
  6. 740's??? mine maxed out at around 335 340rwkw
  7. Denso make nismo/sard/hks/power enterprise/tomei etc etc They make most of the injectors in japan. (correct me anyone if i am wrong please) got any pics? are they red in colour ? can you see Denso written on it ?
  8. ahhhhh you serious ? I thought the Microtech is a great ecu for a Skyline, you just need to know how to tune it properly! I got lots to learn in this game, and still learning every day! Enjoy the new car, it will feel like one once its tuned.
  9. what he means is if its tuned and maxed out at 20psi, if the car overboosts or you turn the boost up the state of tune will not change as the ecu does not know the boost level has changed so it could cause detonation or a too lean of a mixture for the extra boost. it works the other way as well, if the afm max's out at 17 psi and you tuned the car to 23psi, then you decide to turn the boost down to 17psi, then it will run too rich and you won't be getting the right power / mixtures for that boost level So its kinda ok but not recomended to tune the car with a maxxed out AFM, if you dont intend on changing the boost at all then you can possibly get away with it if you have a decent boost control that will never fail and overboost
  10. SARD or Nismo injectors only please.
  11. SAU was a good forum to ask about a silvia engine maybe find someone who has the same engine and ask if you can swap it. what is the issue?
  12. its a known fact that we have some of the best tuners / tuning products around the globe.
  13. change it back to how it was and don't bother getting it tuned. leave it. why do people have to touch something that aint broke?
  14. the whole reason he is using a usb-serial adapter is because his laptop does not have any onboard com ports
  15. the dirt man has one of those and yes they are tough. he left it on his hit bonnet and it flew off at over 80km/h and survived lol
  16. common issue. those usb to serial adapters are a royal pain in the ass. sometimes certain brands don't work with different devices but can work with others. its completly random. check that the drivers are installed and they are the correct ones, check for IRQ conflicts as well. also check another serial device with the usb -> serial adapter to make sure its working do you have your laptop plugged into a 12v to 240v inverter? alot of the times those things cause lots of issues especially the cheap ones, try it with the laptop running on battery. if all fails try another brand usb -> serial I know i had heaps of issues with the USB cable for my Vipec ECU, as soon as i converted the cable to serial and used a serial port on the car pc all works 100% of the time. good luck with it
  17. my tune laptop is a Dell D600 i think. works great!
  18. If you have to get a new turbine wheel ask Hypergear if they can fit a bigger wheel so you get a bit of a highflow happening for a cheap price and bag some extra KW while you are at it!
  19. Yeah in NSW we don't have the "one intake mod" law. if you have any mod to the intake you have to get it engineered. So any R33 gtst with a front mount can get done for emissions or even a car with just a pod. But we get free emissions tests so there is no excuse i guess.
  20. wow there you go, you have had a offer from Hypergear to look at the turbo for you! Send it to them and report back with the results, they will look after you
  21. gotta love some of the questions we get these days Your engine may have a air pocket in the cooling system. My car used to do this alot and i could not get rid of it. Then one day i bled the system again for about 20 minutes non stop and the issue went away. You need to re-bleed the cooling system on the engine. if you are unsure how to do this then take the car to a mechanic and ask them to bleed the cooling system correctly. They should have a proper bleeding system to make sure ALL the air is out of your system. You should fix this asap because parts of the head could be overheating without your temp gauge telling you. Its not your head gasket or anything else for that matter, don't stress if you have found this issue quick enough the engine will be fine.
  22. Yeah the rev limited does some weird things sometimes. Maybe you should replace the plugs and see if this fix's the issue. If it does then you know they have given the car some bad treatment. Maybe they just held their foot on the throttle for minutes on end ? let us know how you go
  23. Yeah! Grimnir: can you take a screen shot of the settings for that output and post it up ?
  24. any aftermarket manifold needs a emissions test in NSW
