  1. what ecu do you run ? We will have to stay away from them if they cannot handle a 2psi change in boost
  2. this is going to be interesting!
  3. Vi-pec is the best ecu for the price by far. Nistune is good and also cheap. I prefer vipec
  4. it will be a completly different car to drive. you will be amazed by the difference it will make.
  5. Yeah I am not a professional engine builder, I can admit that! but i did build my forged RB30DET along with a few other engines... ohhh wait.. I have tuned it as well and have been tuning it for the last 5 or more years along with many other cars. As for the playstation 3 comment, you are right.. I cannot wait for the new GT to come out, that game will take a fair bit of my time when i get my hands on it. I aint really offended with the "ya mumma" comments.. what are you ? some kind of try hard yankie ? I don't use my car to pull chicks, infact I dislike car chicks. especially the ones who have something to prove like this one! been there done that before after a few of them you begin to realise a trend that they are head cases who strive on the attention and usually slit their wrists or pop 100 panadol's and drink a bottle of bourbon when they don't get it. Yes my mum does drive a faster car then the car I am driving at the moment, my car is in a shipping container being shipped to Europe with a Dynodynamics dyno where I am going to further my career in building and tuning high performance cars. I don't care if she will have a car with more power then mine. I actually race my car and enjoy it being a fully engineered EPA street legal 10 second capable car which is now being shipped across the globe for more fun! I do feel sorry for her family when she does finally hit boost in the car for the first time and ends up killing herself and possibly other innocent people at the same time (glad she is thousands of km's away from my family) if she actually goes ahead with this build, the chances of that is very slim anyway. I think maybe you should PM this chick, get her phone number and raise some bogan babies together.
  6. I am pretty sure the car had 7's in it from the start unless they were changed
  7. so many people remove microtech's from their cars for another ECU because no one can tune them. why did i bother
  8. where do you get that price from? i had no idea they were that expensive
  9. I have owned a car for years with a microtech, i have tuned many of them on SR's CA's RB's FJ's Toyota's etc etc. Getting them right is simple, especially with WOT tables which makes tuning for power very easy. Its all the other stuff like every day drivablity that they lack. They also seem to go out of tune every 3 - 6 months from what I have seen. They dribble like no tomorrow and don't get me started on the microtech stumble they all seem to suffer with. Go to anyones place who owns a microtech car and look in the garage. You will see big black patches of fuel spots on the ground, its funny I randomly see these patch's everywhere, even in public car parks. For a car thats gets driven on the drag strip or drifting they are a good match. but for a RB powered daily driven street car they are not suitable.
  10. There are all kinds of issues here. The most concerning one is the Z32 afm you are running with the stock ecu. You cannot run one with a stock ecu - they have different resolutions so the ecu will not be running the engine correctly. You are better off putting a stock AFM back on the car and see how you go from there if you are not upgrading the ECU. if you can afford a SAFC then that with a stock AFM should get your car running well again. where are you located? maybe we can suggest you take the car to a performance workshop to get it all sorted out for you.
  11. not interested in wasting my time. better if we wait for engo to give us feedback on how different the car is from a owners point of view who has had both ecu's. that will be best.
  12. ffs. the microtech is not suited to a rb skyline. anyone who thinks otherwise has no idea. its not even worth trying to educate them otherwise.
  13. HKS use stock rb26 coil packs on the drag car. runs 7's ?
  14. Yeah well if you can afford the split fires then go for it. just don't expect it to fix the issue 100%
  15. would also like to add, this is a r34 gtr with low km's. not very old. it would not be suffering from coil pack issues yet.
  16. you did have problems with your injectors before ? were they all replaced? maybe it is another injector issue. I would get someone to check it out before spending lots of money on parts when you are not sure what the issue actually is.
  17. not safe for a forged engine either
  18. lol. Its a sad reality but it is true
  19. old datsun gearbox's have the same input shaft - my dummy shaft was from a ca20 blue bird gearbox
  20. she is just crying for attention. nothing more. and she got it
  21. 360kw at 12.8 afr? You cannot be serious
  22. i did have one.. but i lost it. i sacrificed a gearbox for it.
  23. most chicks that do up cars have issues. you want to stay away from them
  24. are you using a malpassi fuel regulator? or a cheap ebay one? or and are you using a microtech ?
