  1. maybe you should see a auto electrician? get him to wire it up for you ? look in the DIY "Do it yourself" section of SAU, there would have to be a guide on there on how to do this with pictures. I dont have any diagrams mate, sorry 12.87v is not enough for a walbro, you need 14 volts
  2. cheers for the PM, this is my suggestion. Sometimes people don't install the fuel pumps properly or put them back in the tank properly. open the inspection hole and check to make sure the pump bracket is sitting in there correctly. if its not it can cause you some issues. if you are unsure then take it out and put it back in properly and make sure everything is 100% in there. if you are not sure then its not 100% wire your pump to a relay and its own earth, use the current power wire to switch the relay on. This is needed for ANY walbro pump as they are not rated to run at 12v they need 13 14v ??? next thing to do is buy a set of COPPER plugs. you cannot gap those irridums or platnum spark plugs properly because it stuffs them! NGK BCPR7ES gapped to .8 is a good start. this is a must also. good luck with it
  3. we have one in Newcastle NSW which has a small bearing noise. just needs new bearings. $300 ono
  4. you can spin the rear housing, undo the bolts on the rear housing to loosen it up
  5. hahahahaa look at that power curve! it goes up and then down and then back up again LOL I would get a power fc and get it tuned properly. the car would go heaps faster. and i love it how he stops the runs at 160k's a hour on the first 2 runs, and then on the last final power run he takes it all the way to 180 where it makes the extra power lol
  6. yes. you do. i spotted one on my garage floor last weekend. I am not sure how it got there though lol
  7. yeah i would stick with BCPR7ES and gap them to .8. 95% of r34 break down issues are related to the coil packs because they were very crappy from factory. known issue
  8. hmmm.. the Dirtmans car makes close to 1000hp
  9. i want to know the MPH it ran.
  10. Yes! Water to oil mixture tap. because all cars have them
  11. no advantage. except they are cheaper then a new standard one
  12. turbotech does not have pre boost settings to work with, its over boosting because of a mechanical issue that is possibly related to the boost controller itself. you need to play around with pre loads on the spring etc to get the controler working correctly. 15psi spike aint too bad for your setup, as long as its not leaning out and it tuned for it then you should just leave it
  13. 374rwkw with stock throttle body with plazmaman plenum here!
  14. i suggest you sell your power fc and buy a Vi-Pec, V44 plug in will do the job great!! *waits for Trent's its the same as Link rant* lol
  15. i voted for 380rwkw. you should have added a 2000kw option. i would have voted for that
  16. yeah thats to use the knock sensors in the stock rb25 positions. im sure trent has places that he mounts them that he can show you.
  17. Looking for older version, not new digital version, in WORKING condition! I want to test before buying because I am exporting it overseas anyone know of anyone selling anything? Sydney NSW only please. not too keen to travel unless its for a damn good price.
  18. if you are in sydney i can come over and get it running for you so you can drive it to the tuners
  19. why do i feel like that i have repeated that last statement about 20 times so far... ohhh wait. thats because I HAVE. Read the thread people!!!
  20. mmmm 45psi of Z18 goodness
  21. I compared the graph to mine, my car makes 20rwkw more 1500rpm or so earlier and I even have a larger 1.06 rear housing Still compared to the other setup its much more responsive.
  22. Yes.. it costs united 40 grand to setup the tank / pump / servo for E85. no wonder they are in no hurry to upgrade more servo's
  23. not a stupid idea. awesome idea. i love the old blue's i used to have a series 3 for years. the issue with blue birds is that the rear ends rip out of them very easily whenever you increase the power, i ripped the diff arms out of my body with a CA20 with a 32/36 webber however i did do lots of burnouts and figure 8's etc with a lock dif. the motor should fit in with a thermo fan setup i would say, might have to massage the firewall a little but it would be too much of a drama. just watch that rear end, better to make it very strong before you attempt the conversion because it will rip out. S3 rear end 10 bolt diff's are pretty strong and will handle the power for a little. You could also work on a R30 IRS conversion which has been done many times before in those cars as well. Good luck with it. please keep me up to date with the conversion if it goes ahead!
