  1. i was thinking about doing this setup for a while however I am now capping the money spent on my car so its not going to happen. good to see how well it works
  2. ignore any knock readings when your on the rev limiter. plumb your catch can to drain back to the sump. your tune sounds fine. the knock sensors are probly shit and not working properly hence the false readings. if you cannot hear it knocking if it goes over 100 then its not knocking
  3. you need a power fc. get rid of it
  4. gasket in a tube works fine.
  5. i gave up on e85 because my injectors ran out. see how these cams go. if i make the same power on 20psi that would be nice

  11. cheers ppl. I am going to stick with the 264's. I do not rev this car so the smaller the better. I was going to race the car this weekend but I will put it on hold untill the cams are in! I aint sure I even needed the extra power but this is going to be a great test!

  15. Just got a phone call from the guys at Boost Magazine, I entered a competition at Compak Attak by subscribing to Boost magazine for a set of Kelford Cams and I won! Woohoo!! Details of the cams that are available to me are here.. http://www.camshaftshop.co.nz/index.php/vm...l-products.html I think I will be going with the 264 with 9.35 lift because the engine only turns to 7300rpm MAX and has stock balancer and a N1 oil pump, or should I go 270's?? So cheers to the guys at Kelford Cams & Boost Magazine, my car is finally going to get some cams. Will do some install pics and before after Dyno Sheets to send back to kelford for feedback.

  18. Most of the people who ask for advice on this site do not listen, but here goes. a: There are a few people who use them, most people choose not to. (smart ones) b: Removing it is the best option c: yes, as long as the fuel system is in order d: no Get rid of it. buy a power FC, i have one for sale with $1250 with hand controller. and then get it tuned and the issue will be fixed.
