I would like to know why running Shell V-Power causes more knock / engine noise then the other 98's available on the market.

Gizzmo K-mon costs about $1200 retail. I suggest you buy a Techedge AFR meter first, www.wb02.com. You don't even know how to tune yet and your talking about passing emissons test? you need to learn how to crawl before you can run a marathon mate. After you have tuned about 20 or 30 cars then you should try and work out how to get into the advanced stuff otherwise you will never get anywhere. Good luck with it.

in my history of tuning i have only had 2 motors with issues, they were both built by the same dodgy builder. One of them spun a bearing about 6 months after the tune and the other had bearing issues after being on the dyno for around 20 minutes or so due to oil issues. I have a good friend who is a tuner, and without him there is no way i would know what i know today and he always pointed me in the right direction to learn, 90% of the time he would not give me answers but give me tips on how to find the answer because you do not learn when someone tells you all the answers.

unfortunatly there is no guides for dummys or "how to tune" documents. you have to pretty much work it out yourself, and don't bother asking other tuners because they seem to like to keep what they know to themself's for some reason. so this is what you need, aftermarket ecu thats tunable with laptop laptop 12v to 240v inverter wideband afr setup and alot of balls because if you stuff up then you have a broken engine. good luck

I passed another car through the IM240 Emission's test today, this one was road tuned around a industrial area in cardiff and went on to pass the test the next day! Goes to show if you build a car and tune it properly you can make your car legal and get it engineered. This car has 300rwkw.

Yeah no probs, I had to give up Friday night races at WSID to get your car running so it can be driven to the Dyno. Never mind plenty of time for the track. I prefer Techedge Wideband, they are simple and easy to use and work great! Much smaller then the Innovate unit and much much cheaper as well and we are buying local for overnight delivery, and the support Peter gives us is second to none.

Good info. People look at me funny when i tell them their cut and shut plenum is shit and it should be removed asap. Did you pick up the issue with the K-MON ?

i could be wrong, but I do know that it cost Rozelle 40,000$ to setup their servo for E85. They got the contract with CSR in the city to supply fuel for their company flex cars. Those other dodgy servo's may have not done this preperation like the United servo's do ? United also uses CSR sugar caine to make the ethanol which has been proven to be better then the other stuff available, not sure if its higher octane or not but I know the CSR stuff is the best stuff. So yeah if united Rozelle are still selling then that would probly be why??? I should just go over there after work today and check this all out, once i downsize my turbo i will be going back to e85.

yes there are clearance issues. Yes i have had to change stuff to mine to make it fit with the stock plenum. No i wont tell you if you cannot search, paypal me $100 and i will give you the information. Bet that search button is looking like a better option now ?

no they have IAT. they just go out of tune all the time. at least when they go out of tune they always go rich not lean so i guess thats why its not so concerning

i have had many battles with falcon turbo's. your GTR would eat it silly. Take it to the track and make sure you have a few mates record the run because you will make him look stupid.
