  1. bad news.. your injectors wont supply more then about 330 - 340rwkw with e85. I hit a major brick wall on weekend with my 740's and i had to go back to pump and put e85 on hold for a while. & i have a 044 and was using 52psi base pressure.

  9. nah he is really into his Wolf V500 ecu's.. he loved them to death. Wayne is getting really good with aftermarket ecu's now. He has actually sold quite a few / installed and tuned himself. They are doing really well over there now.
  10. i have a question, i do not want this to be taken the wrong way at all. Yes its a very tough example of a gtr. How would this thing drive ? say on a track ? or on the street, if your only over 350kw for 30 - 35km's in th rev range would it render the power useless and thus make the car really slow?

  14. sad news... I finally hit the brick wall with injector size with e85... I ran out at about 365rwkw with Nismo 740cc injectors. Was trying to get it up to 390 - 400 but i could only manage 382rwkw with the mixtures leaning out to .87 at the top end of the dyno run. I had to empty my tank and fill it with BP98 to get the power at a safe level that i wanted for power cruise - so unfortunatly i will not be running e85 at power cruise.. However i did get a reliable 380rwkw on pump 98 so we are good to go for power cruise. I would have loved to be able to fly the e85 flag but that brick wall hurt. I was not keen to settle for 360rwkw on 100 duty cycle - I like my engine. Yes i did check base pressure, there was no room for improvement, my base pressure was at 52psi - was not keen to raise it anymore.

  17. i still think the plugs were not the problem why it was breaking down. i think it was the really hot fuel in the tank
  18. mine runs normal temps, it just does not get hot as quick and it does not get as hot as it does on normal fuel. its only just noticeable on my car

  21. there are different ways of making ethanol.. the way CSR do and the way the others do.. like the yanks use corn to make it while united CSR use sugar caine. The sugar caine is much better then the corn ways.

  23. Read this post. The Elf oil would fall into group III i would guess, I doubt its a group 4. either way the difference is explained here. Group 5 is where 300v is at.
