  4. sooo laggy. my car makes 100rwkw more 3500rpm earlier in comparison. are all gtr's that laggy?

  6. because engine noise can occur and send the knock sensors nuts. remember the knock sensors were made to be effective at a80kw at engine.
  7. Nope. have not checked it in over a year but i did read you need to check after you run e85. so i did. Filter was soo blocked hey, ive never seen a filter so blocked before. EVER. Yeah 3.74 gigawatts
  8. when we passed the taxi, the guy looked really nervous, and you know in GTA, when the car is about to blow up and it makes a noise? the taxi sounded like that. it was soo weird.... felt like getting out of the car and grabbing him out of the car and telling him to go back, but you never know how crazy the guy could be, maybe he is armed or something....
  9. Yeah he totally smashed the bowser to pieces, it looked like the bowser lifted off the ground. (don't think it did) he was stuck in a queue in traffic. Maybe he realised what he just done and was thinking what to. I was not hanging around, stuff that. GTFO of there no point hanging around a servo where a couple of bowsers are pissing out fuel.

  11. Going for my lunch break at Cox's road, on the way home we stop for fuel. Just sittin there chattin and hear this screching, then see a taxi push a van past the bowsers, the taxi smash's into the bowsers totally stuffing it up, fuel starts pissing out everywhere... then the taxi goes off into the road and nearly has a head on with another car (it kinda looked like his throttle was jammed open) I yelled to my mate, Get the F out of here, fuel is pissing out everywhere, we leave and see the taxi man at the set of lights turning left onto epping road and his taxi was making all weird noises. I think the man was pissed off cos the van might have pushed in the bowser farrk that was weird.

  13. i did a service on the car after the 2 weeks of running e85. The fuel filter was blocked. When i mean blocked i mean you really had blow hard to get any air going through the friggin thing. Now i have been lazy and have not changed the filter in about a year as well so that might have had something to do with it. Another thing i noticed is the line between the steel fuel line to the fuel filter had cracks all over it, kinda feels perished, it will need to be replaced in the next week or so. I also got 450km's to a tank of Mobil Synergy 8000 (98) over the weekend, mixture between freeway driving (300km's) and around town. So yeah the difference in a tank of fuel is about 130km's

  15. Your such a help mate.. lol Sorry. Start logging with datalogit and when you wish to see what you have run, save the log file or when you disconnect it will ask if you wish to save, open the log file with notepad press controll A. edit copy. Open microsloth excel and paste into there. Drag down the sticky cells to the cell information and the first knock sensor is there, scroll across to see the second knock sensor. I delete all the crap i dont need and have a excel file with all the usefull information i need. one tip, Knock with a power fc.. = BBAAAA BUMMMMMMM totally useless information with anything more then 200 to 240rwkw and above.

  20. for anything under 280rwkw the stock bottom end is fine. IF you have the engine appart and are rebuilding DONT even worry about forged pistsons. Use the stock pistons, stock conrods. and use a decent set of ARP rod bolts and you will be fine anywhere up to about 300rwkw. Upgrading ANY other parts internaly for less then 300rwkw is just a waste of money, and if you want to waste money I can show you a way to do that. I will send you my bank account details
  21. There is only a few mechanics that i would trust with my engine. I am not going to mention names. But there are only 2. I am not talking about WORKSHOPS. The workshop has nothing to do with the work done my car. Its the mechanic tgere are only 2 i would trust, they are very expensive (one is a good mate of mine) and the other is a good mate of mine as well... Ohhhh i would probly let Dirt touch my engine but that will never happen cos id be doing it myself and get him to help for free
  22. i hate getting people to work on my car. Because it has to be re-done EVERY time. Now i would just rather take the big risk, do the job myself. That way if stuffs up then then I dont have to get pissed off about trying to get someone to fix it for free when they refuse responsibility. If i wreck it then its my own fault and i learn from my mistake. Fix it and move on.
  23. you sure about that ? Have you played with the raw logging data that you can save out of the datalogit software and then import it into excel? It has 2 knock values. they are different values on my engine, the rear of the engine is nosier then the front on mine. which showed up on the stock power fc datalogit knock sensors & on my Gizzmo KMON.
  24. how many km's to a tank are you getting? You probly should be looking at the reason why you are wasting some much fuel. You should get 450km's to a tank or more. if not.. you have a problem with the car and buying a 6 speed will not fix the issue.
