  1. Victory ? Tastes good. most people are scared of emissions tests (as i was) but when there is a will there is a way. The guy at the RTA says something along the lines of "there are only a few who can have high horse power and good emissions and you are one of them" Love it I will never forget that
  2. get one! and set it up. when you work out how to make it stop spinning after a big slide let me know. too much weight with too much power in a r33 = spin. or maybe i need to learn how to slide better
  3. bring me a car that can tune that much power and il tune it sure The consumpion was 13.5 litres per hundred on both the tests, the last test with 98 was 12.5 litre per hundred. ohh you can tell the difference in the first and second test fromt he CAT, and how bad quality it is because it took AGES for it to heat up as well. If i had of used the same CAT i used last time then there would have been massive different results.
  4. PASSED!!!! Were you expecting anything else ? The guy did not let me take ANY photos, did not let me anywhere near the car when doing the tests. I was not even allowed to watch but i sneaked in through the window and kept an eye out on the emissions Parts per million and had a massive grin going on cos i knew it was running good. He said that from my previous test i have knocked the NOX down heaps by adding more fuel to the test. I would have done HEAPS better again if i had of cleaned up the tune to be leaner when comming on boost because during my tests it did not go anywhere near boost, he must have been giving it a damn good flooring to get the turbo to spool up so early to go into those parts of the map, so even after hitting those parts of the map the rest of the tune was soo clean on emissions it still passed as IM240 is a average drive cycle test so a average is added up at the end of the test and thats how you get your results. I learnt alot from today even though he did not let me watch, he did however answer all the questions that i had for him that I was wondering when I was doing the IM240 cycle tests on the dyno last weekend. I am pretty confident i will be able to get any car to pass. Reason being is mine passed by a pretty fair amount and I used a absolute rubbish cat converter. So yeah.. another win for me Who's next?

  6. yeah i know.. they saw my testing and the great results i have been getting and they want to be more like me.. Well we will see today... Has there been any real tests so far? with real results? I have a passed emissions test with 98 octane and i will have a e85 test this afternoon!!

  8. hehehee I will never forget that turbo, i built it out of scrap turbo's that i had given to me and purchased the front housing, it was the maching and rebuild costs that cost all the money. it was a great turbo for what it was... Vg30 .71 rear Hitachi RX7 rear wheel (cropped) and core T4 .50 front housing and wheel was a drift turbo from hell glad to see ya back mate
  9. i swear i am going crazy, more dreams!! this time i get to the RTA to do the emissions test and my Datalogit stuffs up so I cannot load the emissions tune i had so I had to try and fix it up and re-tune it quickly with the hand controller. I cannot wait till all this is over. lol and that better not happen today!

  13. you have to mod the 25 sump, and you have to make a new oil pickup for the oil. it can be done, my mate has done it before

Pinging the engine just ONCE is enough to do damage to the engine, even though the damage was not noticed straighta way, sometimes it can take some time before the engine stuffs up after a detonate. The stagea rb25 is different, there are some modifications required to get it to fit. where are you located? your better off getting another engine from a R33 skyline. much easier.

Your engine has been toasted because you put it through hell.   16. I have a walbro 255 intank feeding directly into a bosche 044 external pump with nismo 740cc's the PFC is going up to 1.182 on 20psi, and the max is 1.499. plenty left. i did not check what injector duty i am getting, i am thinking 80% will check it out
  17. maybe the catch can was full for ages? you need to empty it every now and then or have a system that drains back to the sump
  18. how much power did you get? i got 340rwkw out of mine on 20psi and still have plenty of injectors left with 740cc
  19. hey mate buy the 044 pump and put it after your stock pump. so you run both of the pumps in line. i run that system and it works well.
  20. i got the exaust leaks fixed.
  21. if i need a motec i need a motec.. but thats going a bit far... might get a vipec or autronic or e11v2...
