Bringing this thread back from the dead for a few reasons... 1: I am going back for another emissions test on 15th of october (by choice again) 2: was thinking about using E85 and tuning the car with that for the test 3: might even try to do the test WITHOUT a cat converter. Seeing the fuel is 85% would you need a cat? So yeah thats my mission. What do you guys think?? am i dreaming about getting the car passed without a cat ? cannot hurt to try. Wonder if i can get the car engineered without a cat? might have to call my engineer what do you guys think ?? Dreaming ?? yes ? no ?? maybe ?? be honest i can handle the flameage

it actually has a RB25det box in it. i know cos i sold it to him

i did the rb30det oil pump with engine in the car, did not take the sump completly out. used heaps of goo and its not leaking so all is good

get a aftermarked piggy back or plug in. fix the problem properly or you will waste more money with band aid fix's. been there done that.

interesting, how did you go with the knock functionality ? does it tell you when its taking out timing ? got any more info you can share about it?

yes they are swapable. Will it fix your problem ?? NO. Time to get a aftermarket ecu and all your problems will be solved. The greddy emanage blue is GREAT for your application.

A mate of mine put me onto OK NRG in Rydalmere who took interest in helping me out with my Skyline to get it ready for the hill climb this weekend. They made me a custom bracket for my R33 GTST for the Fire Ext and installed it & supplied and fitted a basic bonnet latch for $130.00 (they have kits ready for WRX and now for Skyline!!) He made a spare one to use as a template so we can just ring up and order it and get it sent out, they also do custom wheel alignments that take hours to do not your basic 30 minute jobs. Anyway il post up pics tonight, he even polished the bracket and it looks trick!! Prices are: Fire Ext + Bracket $75 Backet alone $16 Magnetic Triangles $10 Secondary Bonnet Clips $35 Great QUICK service and very friendly people! if there was a big skid pan then i would have gone for sure. I don't see the point in a really small skid pan.. especially seeing its soo far away... sorry

if the skid pan was not so small then i would make more effort to go... i think the piss up the night before hand would be more fun then the driving excersizes.. hope no one takes this the wrong way. If i can sell this rb25det for $1700 i will go for sure.
