  1. Clean the brass plunger free of any grease/lube as these only cause the plunger to drag.
  2. I'm putting 260/260 TYPE B PON CAMS on the GTR and want to fit bigger injectors at the same time.Will RX7 S4 injectors fit and must they be off a turbo? I have been told they are pink/ low ohms/square connector/ denso style. gtr_tomei_adjustable_cam_gears_2.bmp
  3. TO HICAS OR NOT TO HICAS THAT IS THE QUESTION. OK. let me get this straight,if i replace the HICAS rack in a R33 GTR with a HICAS LOCK BAR. 1. Will i loose power assist to the front wheels at low/parking speeds but it will feel the same at higher speeds? 2. Will the HICAS warning light come on/stay on and require the warning light bulb to be removed? 3. Which FEELS better for street driving HICAS OR LOCKED?

  6. Looks like you will have an 'air leak' at idle with one hose hooked up to the pcv . As the catch tank is vented.block off the pcv.
  7. i'v mounted mine over where the ashtray is located.with dubble sided tape.
  8. IS THERE ANY REASON WHY I CAN'T CONNECT THE NEW BOOST CONTROLER TO THE EXISTING FACTORY BOOST CONTROLER HOSES? ANY FITTING GUIDES I HAVE READ RUN NEW HOSES TO THE METAL PIPES UNDER THE INLET MANIFOLD OR TO THE TURBO SIDE. ALL I'M DOING IS REPLACING ONE CONTROLER WITH ANOTHER ? CAR IS A R33 GTR. :confused:
  9. HELP!! ME HEADS MELTED! I'm trying to get an oil cooler for a R33 GTR..easy you say. I WISH! All i want is the type that mounts behind the front bar on the n/s/f with the ducting. and with oil filter moval .HKS seem to do all types but try and get a straight answer from suppliers about R and S types ..and what fits what.   10. Try blocking/clamping the vacuum hose to the clutch booster,if the hiss stops its the booster. Then unbolt the clutch master cylinder and check the rear seal for leaks/fluid. A leaking rear seal will let brake fluid get sucked into the booster and ruin the booster seals and give a vacuum leak. Both the booster and master cylinder will require overhauling. flushing the clutch and brake fluid every 2 years will stop this from happening. hope this helps. :how:

  12. My R33 Gtr Had 150psi In All Cyls And Has 70k On The Clock(but Who Knows How Many Realy).
  13. Has Anyone Noticed That Some R33 Gtrs Have A Gtst "style" Dash With A Coin Slot And A Flat Surface Around The Hazard Light Switch,round Clock And Smooth Surface,blanked Off Aerial Switch. (the Aerial Switch Cant Be Fitted Into The Smooth Dash) While Other Gtrs Will Have A Dash With A Rough Surface,rounded Area By The Switches And An Oval Clock With No Coin Slot And An Aerial Height Adjuster Switch,vents Are Set Back Into Dash, Series 1 Or 2,air Bags,v Spec's.... HI 'GUYS does anyone know what the story is with all the different ways of connecting oil catch tanks to rb26's?,some seem to use sealed systems and others with breather filters,some disconnect the PCV, others use it. what are the pro's and con's? i have got the breather type but not 100% sure which way to connect it up.
