I was thinking of doing smth like that.. Let people enter in their name, what model/spec/year car they have, what mods they have done, and post photos via forms. It's just I'm sooooo freakin' lazy and haven't started, maybe you can pick up where I left off?

In regards to the 4 or 5 stud wheels, I was told the R33 GTS uses 4 stud, the GTST/GTR uses 5 stud.

Don't ask me why.. but UAS ( www.nismo.com.au ) have aftermarket front bars and specify to fit "Series 1" and "Series 2" seperately. One thing which I don't think anyone mentioned.. the S2 console and door plastic is improved (more durable). They found that it was scratching and stuff with S1 (there was a thread on here about it - and they were talking about painting it). Also, I wouldn't mind knowing the reason for John's comments about the S2 turbo being better than the S1 - perhaps BY BY could tell us because he works at UAS with John. I'm going for an S2 myself because a newer car is going to cause less problems and have less kms and I *personally* like the look of it better - but each to their own. Cheers, Tim

My friend went to UAS and spoke to John (the guy who owns it) and he said the turbo in the S2 is better, I don't know what the explanation was though.

I heard it was the other way around.. The S2 got some certain thing-a-ma-bob *EDIT* in the turbo */EDIT* which the S1 didn't. I also heard that some part of the turbo is electronic in the S2, but mechanical on the S1. Pretty vague I know hehe *EDIT forgot to add the "in the turbo" bit

Hey Moanie, Yeah I was talking about your guages.. not the boost guage above the steering wheel though - the one in the centre console. Yep they will be looking for a car for me.. it's just that the guy who does it was on holiday in Aust - he went back to Japan yesterday, so from today onwards they will be looking. And yep, I've put down a deposit too!

What guages are they under the climate control in the centre console? They aren't Nismo ones.. (at least not the ones below..)

Yeah I dig the sunroof - that is why I want is so bad!! Well the guy put a grand down a couple of months ago and they have been looking for the whole time. This silver one I showed you was bought by the dealer for their own stock, and now this guy wants them to hold it for them!! They said it's arriving on the 14th (Thursday), so I will go down then or on Friday and check it out. Hopefully he would have been contacted and come in / told them whether he wants it. If the car is all good and he doesn't want it, it's mine!!!!

Damn that was so lucky!! So did you get it for a better price than the first buyer who fell through? I am buying mine from a place in Manly Vale, NSW. They had one coming in which was PERFECT, and I asked them to tell me when it came in so I could check it out. Anyway I came in between time, and I asked about it.. and the guy said someone had put a deposit down on it (without seeing it)!!! I was a little peeved. Apparently the guy had been looking for 2 months and was looking for I think a 96 GTS-T, black with a sunroof and <30,000kms! I am hoping he passes this one up cos the guy said he was really fussy.. and if he does, I'll have mine ASAP!!!!! But I'll wait until Dec 3rd when my final exams finish :burnout: PS. the car that was coming in that I liked is at www.timgriffin.com/skyline/ .. it's the first two pictures (with the Nismo chin).

3 months, damn. Well it was worth the wait.. I was told 6 weeks AFTER they find and buy the car. I am hoping it takes less than a fortnight to find it :uh-huh:

Nice. Did Moanie do any mods herself? Or was it as imported? The aft mkt guages above the stereo look wicked. The guy who scouts the cars @ auctions left for Japan today.. he was in Aust on a holiday (damn slackers! hehe). So tomorrow I suppose he starts looking for my car.. Don't you guys think Nissan have diluted the 300ZX and Skyline name? I mean both the 350Z and the R35 Skyline are the same car with a different engine and trim, right? There's more variation between a BMW 3.20i and a 3.30i!!! (exaggeration..)

Yeah the S2 definitely looks nicer with the new spoiler, front bar and lights.
