Ahh, went up to have a look at my engine at the shop today, not all that bad, just ran a bearing on number 6 and the piston was slapping the head, the crank is stuffed from that, and the head has some detonation that needs to be cleaned up...
getting another crank, forgies, rods, full head service and the head repaired and all should be good to get it back next week should set me back about $3500...yay
it is lucky the guy doin my enigne does heaps of rb26/30 conversions as he has lots of rb26 bottom end parts sitting around as spares as my crank was a its limit and couldnt be ground down any more so that saved me about $1000 or so...
