  1. Item: Weather Strips suit R32 GTR (not sure if they suit GTS-t as well, but would assume so) Location: Sydney Item Condition: Used Reason for Selling: Dont like the look of them on my car Price and Payment Conditions: $80 Extra Info: Run across the top of the door, stops the wind and rain etc so you can crack the window down a bit. Contact Details: [email protected] or PM will post some pics when i get home tonight. has the little clip thingys also that go under the rubber to keep them secure, and they attach with double sided tape to the rubber around the door frame.
  2. should have a number on it like somewhere or google the part number, usually measured in millimeters like 1170 or something somewhere on the writing section...no need to cut it...
  3. just find the measurement on the belt and how many ribs it has and ask for a generic one, a power steering belt for my daily drive was $35 genuine and $18 when i asked for a 4pk950
  4. *what unarmed_skyline said*
  5. get a screwdriver on each side and give it a pop, i tried one screwdriver for about 3 hours then tried two and it came straight out
  6. what car is this on gts-t or a gtr? 0.78 is around stock boost i think for a gtr...where do you have the solenoid plumbed into?
  7. yeah, the REM cable is just the remote wire from the head unit telling the amps to turn on when the head unit is on, the power wire is the one you need to make sure will run enough power through it... what size fuse is it and what is the gauge of the power wire? if the wiring was some sort of amp wiring kit package thing or similar then the fuse etc should be okay to run it, something like 8gauge or higher...mine runs 4 gauge with a 60amp fuse at the front...
  8. really depends on how much power you want to run and what sort of power cable you have running, what are you looking at getting put in and what size is the amp you are looking at and the sub you have?
  9. Ahh, went up to have a look at my engine at the shop today, not all that bad, just ran a bearing on number 6 and the piston was slapping the head, the crank is stuffed from that, and the head has some detonation that needs to be cleaned up... getting another crank, forgies, rods, full head service and the head repaired and all should be good to get it back next week should set me back about $3500...yay it is lucky the guy doin my enigne does heaps of rb26/30 conversions as he has lots of rb26 bottom end parts sitting around as spares as my crank was a its limit and couldnt be ground down any more so that saved me about $1000 or so...
  10. my quote was for $3500 with forged pistons, but it is going up as they pull it apart it seems...
  11. yup, 2 1/2 weeks in oz for me and mine started knocking, just after i put new turbo's on and changed the oil too, its getting rebuilt at the moment
  12. yeah, got one off ebay as well, got an alpine, has a frequency selector for australia in it so i just changed the setting and all worked perfectly just watch the dvd players, they will be the wrong region...
  13. is it a straight swap? or do you need a little bit of manufacturing to get it to fit?
  14. from memory it's the top left fuse in the fuse box under the dash, take it out = RWD
  15. thankyou SydneyKid, thats the information i was trying to find, i have read heaps of threads on how it wont work, etc, but this is the first one i've found on rebplumbing the pump without it overheating and the such...
  16. hmm, true, but my engine is out at the moment and i diddnt really want to put the 4ws plumbing back in when i put it back together... however if it proves a hugely easier option then i will...where would one source one of these tomei kits from out of interest?
  17. thanks for that, can you reccomend any 2ws pumps that may work better or that you have tried?
  18. prev sale fell thru, price drop $80k
  19. Hi guys, i am looking at removing the HICAS off my r32 gtr, the lock bar is fine but what i was wondering is wether the R31 power steering pump would work as a replacement to the 4WS R32 one without any/many mods making it a straight conversion to 2WS? and allowing me to remove all the piping or would i need to still do modifications to the rack or other areas? i have searched, but haven't really found a sound answer to removing all the piping, i have heard of removing the rear seaction from the power steering pump and plumbing it up, but i have also read that it could possibly overheat? so any information would be really useful, thanks.
