For Sale - 2 x Fulda Exelero Tyres 235/40/18. These are high performance tyres that I bought only 6 weeks ago and have been very impressed by them. They were mounted on the front wheels only so definately no missuse. They give a quiet ride and in the time I have owned them only one trip up the old pac Hwy which they performed very well!!! Didnt know at time of purchase that I couldnt get matching back tyres in my size. Bummer! I Payed $600 for the pair only 6 weeks ago!!!! I'm asking $400 and I'm happy to deliver to the central coast, Sydney or Newcastle areas. Thats a bargain for some "brand new" 18 inch tyres in this size. PM me or ring Wayne on 0414 426790. PS. Fifty kms difference to a tank sucks!!! Hope you can get that fixed, Kasey and I both get around 460-470kms to a tank. I will be interested to see if my fuel consumption changes when my FMIC is fitted, hope it aint that bad!!

Hi all, Can someone tell me if an R32 GTR fuel pump will fit into an R33 GTS-T S2??? I dont know if a 32 pump is the same as a 33. Is it a straight swap as I assume or are they different? I have 2 of the R32 GTR pumps both pretty much brand new and am hangin to get 1 of them in my R33. As far as i know the GTS-T pump flows at 125 Litres and the GTR pump is rated at 270 litres. Is this correct?? I have a new Greddy FMIC kit that i want to get on and want to know if I can fit the fuel pump at the same time with my new electronic boost controller to come real soon after that!! Any help with this subject would be great and does anyone know someone who has fitted a GIZMO boost controller as I'm trying to find a workshop who has fitted one and tuned it before??? Phanks heaps!!!!

I remember first lifting the bonnet on a skyline with 40,000kms on the clock and thought that the lifters were stuffed but it was just the injectors. But i have noticed that the injectors are really loud on RB motors. If it is running rich all of a sudden it may be just the injectors are working harder to keep up with more air flow going in the motor with your new FMIC or something controlling your mixture is stuffed! Hows your fuel consumption per tank? How many kms are you getting now?? You could always just lighten your right foot!!!

Hey Mate, I put a Blitz LM pod on my 33. Bought it brand new in a kit for about $160 (i think), had everything in it including mounting brackets and only took 10 to 20 minutes to fit. If yours didnt come with any mounting brackets i'd be taking it back ASAP!!!! As far as how it goes, well it keeps the dirt out and i can really hear my Stock BOV now, but havent had it on the dyno to check power improvments. Gotta be better than the stock airbox but! Cheer Bud!!

Hey Funky, I've been looking around for a couple of hours now for a skyline model codes break down for r33's and have come up with diddley squat so far. Mate, can you look up a vin for me please on fast? 6u9000ecr33146691 or break down the model number ggkbrtfr33vzaaaydm. I'm looking to purchase this car tomorrow and it would help me greatly if you could check it out for me. It has 40th anniversary badges on the c pillars but no active lsd and after market seats so i cant check for seat badges. Sounds abit fishy to me. Thanks mate.

Thanks mate, at least i now know that they are a decent spring and not a throw in by some backyarder. Maybe the bump stops just hit because of the lower ride height. Could be nothing, thanks again!!

Hi everyone, A little help would be greatly appreciated on this subject. My August 1997 GTS-T TYPE M seems to have had its springs changed to lower the car slightly and they look like a factory spring in appearance, but they have RS-R printed on them in what look likes the same font that the GTR logo is printed. They seem soft in the front because when i go over speed humps in carparks they bottom out in the front and hit the bump stops. Obviously this is not how the car came from the factory and the car only had 45,000kms when i bought it in Febuary this year. Has anyone ever seen these RS-R springs around anywhere?? What are they off?? Can anyone recommend any springs that they use? How do they feel?? Rock hard, balanced, comfortable ride etc. I'm looking for a good street spring that is firm but not rock hard for the track. Thanks

a mild cut and polish means it has a small amount of abbraisive content to help remove the layer of dullness in paint surfaces. Paint is a kind of plastic when it dries, your headlights are plastic so it cleans them in a similar way. BUT, if you use a heavy grit cut and polish you may scratch your headlights perminantly= NOT GOOD!!! Try a standard polish first if you want and if that doesnt work then try the MILD cut and polish. Tell the guy in the shop what you are doing and he will probably put you on to the right stuff. My lights look great-like new.

Just a little tip that i learned about the other day. If your headlights have a foggy look to them in the lense, get a MILD cut and polish on to the outside and they will look like new again. Makes a huge difference to the look of your car and my headlights are now alot better at night with a clear fog free lense!! Hope this helps you all out. I wasnt keen on buying new lenses and now there is no need to. Spread the word fellow liners!!

I congratulate you on the return to your skyline! Enjoy the buzz once more. i couldnt handle having my skyline in the garage and not being able to drive it for three years, i think i would end up in therapy of some sort!! Hasnt fuel gone up in three years!!!

I must say its been a few days now and I'm here to say I AM SPEECHLESS! The whistle of my first turbo car, the handling of my M-spec, the short gear shift, the looks that "BETTY" gets at the lights ( Black Betty that is), the sound she makes, the push back in the seat, the envy of my mates, i just cant put it into words!!!! Thats why I love this site, you have all been there and you all understand the BUZZ!! I knew from the day I spotted my first R33 that I wanted one and after intence reseach and alot of convincing to the wife over 2 to 3 yrs I have my baby in the garage. It has far exceeded any expectation I had about the nissan skyline package. Again words fail me, but i can see the money pit before me, and i can see it being there for along time to come. Oh Black Betty, BAM BA LAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would mainly want to upgrade to a new turbo for a stronger, more reliable ball bearing turbo with steel impellers, I've heard that the standards cant be pushed safely, thats all.

I dont think I'll get much sleep tonight, I'm still buzzin from the drive!!

After a long wait, I finally purchased my first skyline today! I've been driving all day and am only home to sleep till I can drive it again tomorrow!! I'll get new and better pics of it soon but in the meantime-CHECK OUT MY NEW RIDE!! YEAH BABY!!!!!!

I'm picking up my first GTS-T on Sunday morning, I'm sure that I will have some questions soon as well. Thats what this site is about or have some of you forgotten that? I'm 33 years old, he is 16, what does it matter, a question is a question! Maybe you lot should find something more productive to do with your time rather than bagging the newb's!! I'm a newb to this site why dont you bag me or do you lot only pick on 16 yr olds?
