The renault connection maybe benificial and also not so beneficial at the same time-The last thing Nissan need is a long hard slog in F1 and end up providing the mid field with another team. Toyota has gone through hundreds of millions of dollars to prove ...nothing really
Rebuild on a RB26 will set back around the 7k depending on what you put in of course-it could be a lot higher with really good gear (like 12K)
There are 32GTR's with running engines around for 18k now...market is dead...sux
NASCAR is the 2nd largest watched sport in the U.S behind NFL and generated 100's of millions of dollars in sponsorship...so Toyota are smart...big exposure in a huge U.S market. The cars may be 30 year old tech but NASCAR can teach all other motorsports a thing or two about success and how to keep the fans happy
If you want a GTR and can afford the bills go for it...a clean mildly modded one makes a good daily. I used my 660hp one for my daily for a month...not so good ha ha. GTSt are ok but they are not the real thing. GTR=THE real thing
Cromly going no where -sorry
Good to see Webber finished the year in fine style and this race basically represented his last 2 years at Williams-DNF ha ha. This whole Williams fiasco has destroyed any chance of Mark ever really getting to the top. I hope a thousand fleas invest the ass crack of all who work at Williams and crappy Cosworth.
OK-Ill say it-these cars are typical Australian trash that this country continues to roll out-if it not power steering or fuel leaks in new Holdens well it then clutches shtting themselves in Fords

This colour on the R33 GTR shape looks outstanding-Yes the market has gone dead on GTR's-it took 8 months to sell my last one-and they price was very cheap
We all remeber the days Toyota made exciting performance cars-JZA80 Supra TT, MR2T ...but now Toyota is all about the cardigan set......shit house
edit make that boring and shit house
The most important thing when buying a GTR is mechanical condition and general overall condition...look underneath for under body damage...these things get picked up in Japan by forklifts and it fks the underside. There are many complex and very expensive parts to consider their condition on a GTR. A non rebuilt engine(still factory internals) will fail under extra boost...most common problem especially in the older GTR's (R32 1989-1994)is bearings spinning requiring bottom end rebuild. A basis RB26 rebuild will set you back 7K minimum (more of course depending on mods). I have owned plenty and brought in plenty and it would take me hours to explain the pit falls of these things if your not familiar with them. Take along an expert if you are inspecting one.
edit- the bottom line is these things are expensive to maintain and insure and if something does go wrong you will be running for the bank manger....you need to have at 10k extra in your bank account after you purchase one.
