$549.99 inc postage ??? -
Hey guys, Due to some bad planning on my part - I am now selling my GCG hi-flow RB20 turbo. I've been told this turbo also fits RB25 with no mods I purchased a second-hand RB20 turbo for $235, and rebuilt it at GCG for $1950 plus freight both ways. The turbo has only left the box it got shipped in for the photos below - and it was put back in the box again! NEVER HIT THE ENGINE OR EVEN SUNSHINE!!!! If you were thinking about doing the GCG hi-flow upgrade - why not save yourself over $400??? Buy this one!!!! *SOLD* CALL 0412 851 620 or e-mail me: [email protected] personally i think its a shit hot price and it should go this weekend!! so someone help a brother out!!
-
haha so thats why i couldn't register it!!! oh well, now you can point yours to mine
-
cheers daveo!! notice the groove in the cover for the non-existant footbrake
-
I know its hard to tell from the pic - but does the bolts in the pic look similar to Cefiro spec? If so, which two bolts lined up *note* that i butchered the top good n proper!!!
-
yeh and i spose if i didn't have the holes in the carpet i wouldn't really mind - but i do, so i wanna find a solution *cross fingers*
-
haha u know what they say about a guy with big feet he's a clown aaanyway I have removed it and WAS thinking of modifying it - but I butchered it - so I need an alternative oh well - I might do a run to the wreckers and see what I can adapt - I wanna keep my car looking assembled
-
I've found some for sale on NS off a Nissan Almera? I have no idea what one of those cars is? But do I assume if it fits a S13 that it'll fit the Laurel?
-
Hey kids, I've had a search and can't find much on Laurel / Cefiro in this section. My Laurel has non-turbo brakes (I assume coz they're pretty woeful) so I was wondering what a worthy upgrade would be. I'd like to keep the four-stud pattern so I can keep my rims. Cheers, Jason
-
hey kids, Can someone who has a FACTORY manual Laurel tell me how wide their foot-rest is. I have the Auto, non-turbo foot-rest with my R32 5-speed and if I wear shoes then my foot hits the foot-rest when I use the clutch. Just wondering whether the foot-rest in a manual is skinnier. Cheers, Jason

2) is exactly what I got! THANKS! I've got an S-AFC2 to install - I guess that'll help me adjust the idle (assuming all else engine-wise is OK) Or I might put in my GTR pump that I have - I don't know whats in there now but its noisy Thanx everyone else too - I'll clean my AFM just for good measure

Hey kids, I was posting in another topic but I thought I'd start fresh. My car (R32 RB20DET) idles realtively OK when its cold (about 1100rpm) but when the needle reaches the middle of the temp gauge, it idles at about 2000rpm - and about 1600rpm with the air-con on. - The car idles LOWER with the air-con ON (i would've thought the idle control would adjust in the opposite direction to compensate for compressor?) - It idles HIGHER as the car gets warmer - I've read topics that say to clean the AAC and they talk about a spring and that it should function properly - I pulled mine apart and cleaned it with carby cleaner (which didn't fix the problem) - and NO spring was present. Can someone tell me where the spring is supposed to be? Pics of my AAC below HHHEEELLLPPP PPPLLLEEEAAASSSEEE Cheers, Jason
-
can someone tell me where the spring is supposed to be?
-
mine idles high (around 2000, 1500 with air-con) - and read that cleaning the AAC was a fix for that too - i guess i'll just bolt it back on and see how it goes
-
i've removed my aac (pics below). Which is the spring thats supposed to move? - because atm, its all lookin a bit blocked up just need to know what its supposed to look like after I clean it

oh and I don't mind spending 1950 as long as its brand-new-reliable, and I don't have to change any piping or oil lines etc! been thru all that before too many times!! pipes/lines/silicon/clamps - it all adds up in the end!! -

haven't got it yet - still waiting for it to be fixed and registered - but yeh its an R32 RB20. at the moment its only got the stuff in my signature - not sure what boost its running but it goes pretty average - hopefully the GCG turbo will make it a little more exciting with a bit more boost - and hopefully it spools OK. i'm wondering if i'll have to get a new dump pipe or whether the existing one can be machined to match the rear housing??
