  2. Problem solved. i got my car back yesterday from the mechanic and its was one of the intercooler hoses. It was split. I can now run 1.2 bar (which actually hits 1.29) with my stock injectors and it doesn't go above 92% injector duty. ElBoRo.
  3. yeh i dont have stock turbo's, i have got R34 N1's and i recently got my exhuast done so i have a brand new CAT. I know with my old GTS-t i had a similar problem and it ended up been the spark plugs, but my spark plugs were changed when i got the other stuff done, so i have no idea what it is. Im taking it to my mechanic tomorrow, hopefully its nothing major. and also i usually run it on 1.05 bar but it doesnt have much problem running 1.2 on a good night as long as i dont rev it out past 7000. The injectors are in the 90's though.
  4. yeh you could be right... but i dont understand how the injectors could be maxing out when the fuel pump cant get enough fuel in there, i think i left that bit out. oops. but yeh thats the story, the injectors are maxing out when its barely reaching 1 bar and its suppose to boost to 1.20 bar. The boost is really slow coming on aswell.
  5. hey i was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and might know what it is. In the past couple of days my car has become very laggy, as in my turbo's are spooling up very slowly and not hitting full boost by redline which sucks! I dont know if i have accidently changed something on my apexi computer or maybe if it is spark plugs...? but i am sure someone on here should have a better idea than me. Thanks, ElBoRo

  7. Hey Here's the story, I was driving yesterday avo in my R32 GTR when suddenly the HICAS light came on and my steering became heavy. At the time i was going around a round about, i dont know if doing that tight turn might have triggered something. Also as long as i have had the car the HICAS light would only come on when i am traveling over 100km/h for more than 10 minutes, im not sure why, but obviously this was going to happen sooner or later. I have seen HICAS lock bars advertised and that might be the way to go but it wont fix whatever is goin on with my steering. Im sure im not the first person to experience this problem, so if anyone on here knows what can be done to fix this could you please help me out. thanks, ElBoRo.
  8. I am selling a pair if GTR turbo's in excellent condition. The are off my 1990 R32 with 91000km and i never had a problem with them and they were never boosted. I have had them checked out by a mechanic yesterday who said that there is no shaft play. I am selling them because i have no need for them as i have upgraded to N1's. I am asking $600ono.   11. I recently upgraded my car and am looking to sell my stock turbo's and also a MINES's R33 GTR Computer. The turbo's are off my R32 GTR and are in excellent condition, the computer is out of my mates R33 GTR and would suit a stock R33 GTR. The computer is pre-tuned and increases the power to approx 210kw at the wheels (all 4) with no other mods.   12. I had a similar problem with my old R33 GTS-t. I would put my foot down and it would pull and then when i change up to the next gear and accelerated it went like a a piece of crap. Anyway it turns out it was my spark plugs, i got new ones and the car wnt like a rocket, so it might be worth while checking that out. ElBoRo
  13. Yeh my old GTS had a t4/t3 turbo and it made a different noise when it was cold compared to when it was warmed up. And btw look out for stcok gtr clutches, they go pretty easy. ElBoRo
  14. well why dont you open a thread asking people who they take their GTR to. Then everyone can compare mechanics and you can find out who the good ones are, unless its already been done. I personally take my GTR to S-Rally Performance in North Parramatta. My dad also takes his GTS-t there and we have rarely had a problem with their work. The guy that runs the place is Vish Pillay.   15. This is just my opinion. I owned an R33 GTS-t and now own an R32 GTR. I think that the GTR is in a completly different class to the GTS-t. The GTS-t is the car i would rather drive around 8 hours a day, but it can't even be compared to the GTR on the track. I think the GTS-t is a sports car, and the GTR is alot more of a race car, so you can't really compare the two. I would be comparing the GTS-t to the S15. ElBoRo
  16. I have an R32 GTR and i have never had a problem with the motor. The stock clutch is a different story though (but thats what you get with 4WD i guess). Just steer clear of the dodgy dealers and make sure you get it checked over by a mechanic that knows these types of cars. I dont know if NRMA are any good at inspecting GTR's?

  20. yeh, i have since got another R32 GTR and have found that it is exactly the same as the one i was talking about before, its totally normal for GTR32's to run hot, i think its becuase there is so much shit in that engine bay, Nissan should have put the battery in the back like the R33 and maybe even put the ABS stuff somewhere else, but yeh its normal for it to run hot. My oil temp sits around 70 on a normal day, and about 85 or 90 on a hot day, had it to about 100 i think once when i was really pushing it hard for ages. but now my clutch is screwed lol. and when i turn it off, the engine bay stays hot for agesssss. but i have never heard that bubbling sound
  21. yeh, i didnt see you guys at P6, anywayz me and another skyline cruised wif some other cars to wollongong. It was complete chaos there, the light house area was blocked off and no-one went to the airport. but anywayz, to top the day off i got pulled over by undercovers in a nissan patrol on the way home for 130k's in a 100 zone (not too bad though, they let me off. ) so yeh, justg watch out for nissan patrols lol.   22. hahaha he only works on turbo high performance cars and he is a licensed mechanic and has always worked on my GTR and my GTS-t beofre this car and i have naver had a problem with his work. Sorry, but I think i trust a mechanic over you mate. My car doesnt have 400 kw or anywhere near that (and it never will), so my need for some super jimmy clutch isnt that high. Its funny how someone says something and then other people just agree like they know who my mechanic is?!?!? what a joke. and by the way, i only wanted opinions, i didnt say i will garantee you i am going to buy whatever you say.   23. mechanic rekons stock clutch with heavier duty pressure plate is the way to go. my dad has this on his skyline, never any problems. sounds like the way to go to me. ElBoRo
  24. yeh, well i will ring my mechanic tomorrow and see what he has to say about it. Also, what are the pro's and con's of push or pull clutches? which would be best for my car and the way it will be driven? (which is not too bad except for the dump starts)
  25. Yeh that sounds like it would be a great clutch but its more than i want to spend, I will think about it though considering i will be giving my clutch some punishment. thanks for your reply anywayz though. ElBoRo
