yo, Does anybody know a place that i can get a clutch for cheap for my R32 GTR. It started slipping yesterday after i dumped it at 5000 rpm I thought they could handle a bit of that. I think a wreckers or something might be the way to go, but i dont know any that have plenty of GTR's and other such imports. I also have some gear ready to go in it like new comp n boost kit and dump pipes so it will prob have a bit more power when i get it back and i dont just want to be replacing clutches all the time but i still want to dump it at 5000. So maybe a heavier duty clutch might be the way to go? Anywayz i have never had to buy a clutch before and i have been looking around and they seem to be between 700 and 900 for a decent one (i dont know if that is a good price or not, its from unique auto sports). So does anyone have any advice on where a good place to get a clutch is? Thanks, ElBoRo

whats this pro unit i keep reading about for the R32/R33? and what difference is there from a normal one?

thanks for your help ppls, i got new tyres yesterday and it runs heaps smoother now. I think i will go and buy an aftermarket oil gauge today though because yesterday when i was going to bob jane i looked at my stock oil gauge and it was on 0!!! i freaked out. But after i pulled over and turned the car off, checked the oil, and turned it back on it was fine. wierd. ElBoRo.

yes i do have an aftermarket steering wheel, and the tyres on the front are diff to the back. I don't know what a TPS is but i will check all the conections i can see uner the car. Does anyone know how to get rid of that bell sound when you go over 100 or 110 or whatever speed it is.

hey, I just wanted to know if anyone else has the same probs as me with their GTR. 1) Oil pressure seems lower than that of my previous R33 GTS-t even though it has the right amount of oil. (sits between a quarter and 4) 2) After cruising at about 100 - 110 on the freeway for about 5 - 10km's the HICAS light comes on and stays on until car is switched off and turned back on. 3) Sometimes the car puts too much power to the front (at low revs) and the car shudders a bit until u take your foot off and re-apply, then it goes back to normal. I havn't had my GTR for long at all and am not sure where these probs are coming from. Also how the hell do you get rid of that bell sound when you go over 100??? Any help appreciated... yeh i jus had it out tonight, it seems the oil temp gauage is broken just above half way but it deff is running hot cuz wen i get it home it stays hot for a very long period of time but anywayz i will give my mechanic a call 2morrow. thanks for your help, ElBoRo.

yeh tru, found that out wif da stock boost gauge on da gts, wot a load of crap

oh k thats great to know, the oil temp gauage is a lil above half way and water temp looks normal. It just seems wierd that the engine bay is so hot still even after like almost 2 hours...

hey ppl, i recently bought an r32 gtr and noticed it runs a bit hotter than my gts and also it is heaps hot under the bonnet when i pull up and stays hot for quite a while, i was wondering the rb26dett runs hotter than the rb25det? or if something is wrong? thanks ElBoRo.

yo, just put my 33 in for a new computer and bigger air flow meter. how much boost can those stock injectors handle? would 15psi be reasonable? thanks, ElBoRo

haha, i am not trading down, i am buying a 32 as my second car, because i hav been doing up my 33 and i dont wanna keep putting k's on it and wearing it out, plus... i like R32's. So your basically saying there is a big difference, is there something u can compare it to? ElBoRo
