  1. I smell the likes of a re-match coming on!!!!! Time to bow to the mighty R34 powah!!
  2. No worries. I was the one who had the headlights that were converted at compliance that were unable to be converted back to xenon. You gave me advice on the ballasts and bulbs I had. I wouldn't waste your time on this other guy!! He seems to enjoy showing his ignorance.
  3. WRXHOON has helped me in great detail with Xenon lighting!! When all others just hummed and twiddled their thumbs, he actually got off his ass and was proactive to help a nobody who he had never even met!! It seems in his attempt to "HELP" people with sharing his knowledge and experience, certain people have found it easier to attempt to shoot him down. It's no wonder then why poeple like WRXHOON think twice about posting helpful and informative information after many of the immature and sheer ignorant replies he's received.

Except when it comes to ignition problems and fuel pump connections!!!! But in all honesty Dan, I think you're great. Always ready to help wherever and whenever you can!!
  5. Great to hear it worked for you. In any case, whenever indicators are bent back, always remember to check pad thickness regularly to make sure you don't get metal on metal at some point.
  6. Why not just bend the wear indicator back a couple of mm? That's what I do.
  7. Dave, one word for you.............. SOFT!!!!!
  8. I'd say they weren't bedded in properly. As previously mentioned, find out what make they are and rebed them to make sure the process was done correctly. Also, are there any deep score marks in the rotors? You could be getting brake dust or road grime in between the pad and the rotor. This would not be helping your casue either. If this is the case, a slight machine of the rotors, a rough up of the pads with sandpaper and a re-bedding of the pads following manufacturer instructions should see you good to go.
  9. I'd also like a digital copy for my wallpaper. Preferrably in 1280*1024 please? How much and where to send money too? Cheers Pete
  10. Spotted White R34 Sedan on Oakey Flat Rd this morning at 6:30am heading towards Bruce Highway. Nice roundabout cornering!!!
  11. How can the calender be almost done when my car hasn't been in a photo shoot yet? Have I missed something critical, like the date of the photoshoot???
  12. I'm sorry, but he did say "raced"....... what are we supposed to think? As for being on my box, I would never for a moment consider putting my foot down, even for a squirt with my family in the car. To think that nothing could go wrong is simply stupid and naive. There is a time and place for "racing", and that is at a track, not on a public road with the family in the car!!!! This is my opinion, take it or leave it.
  13. Congrats on the car being fixed, but your an idiot for racing on a public road, and to make it even worse with your wife and child in the car!!!
  14. Yes Jason, thank you for your timely reminder!!!!! Let's just inform the peanut gallery of the leadup to the night! In my infinite wisdom was intending to wind the boost up to 12 to match YOUR 12 psi that YOU were going to run on the night!! Instead, my adjustments went astray and I only later found out I was only running at 7psi!!!!!! So, gloat while you can, cause next time it will be 33 munch time!!!! My time is not important. Let's just say I ran slower than when my car was completely stock, and I mean COMPLETELY STOCK!!!!!
  15. Now I find that offensive!! You're just jeolous!! Stop picking on my car!!! It has more powah than both of you remember!!!!!
  16. Drag strip hey?? What times did your stocker run may I ask?
  17. Thanks for the headsup. Much appreciated. Cheers Pete
  18. Sorry to hijack. Yeah, BMW X5. Any known problems with the Turbo Diesel 2004 - 05 models??
  19. More babies on the way make the decision easier and easier. Bring on the X5 I say!!!
  20. My car will be up for sale soon. 2001 R34GTX-T. The rarer of the models. PM if you are interested!!
  21. Terry I have a spare socket 478 P4 Fan if need be. I am located north of Brisbane in Morayfield. PM if you need it!!
  22. Yes Rezz, using the keys would suck. Borderline impossible. As for too realistic Geoff, I should have been more clear. What I meant was eg. you can get swiped by another car mid chicane and end up spinning off in an unrecoverable spin, yet the other car just keeps going as if nothing happened. This to me is unrealistic as I have tried everything from opposite lock, full throttle, no throttle etc with no change to the outcome. Now I won't say that I am a Schumacher at the PC sim games, but I can honestly say I have had many, many years and more to the point hours and hours of gaming dating back to games like Grand Prix 1 and the legendary Grand Prix 2. Having said that I still find it difficult to understand how the game GTR2 can be so close to the real deal in every way but end up being a little disappointing in this aspect. My 2 cents anyway Pete P.S. I too am looking at building my own simulator to be used in conjuntion with my 110" Projector Screen. I will have to elevate it somewhat to compensate for the height difference from my usual home theatre viewing. Cheers
  23. Better late than never. Happy Birthday Eddius-Maximus!!!!
  24. On a side note Rezz, how are you finding GTR2? Do you think it is somewhat over realistic? Perhaps it is the type of wheel I am using (logitech Logitech Sidewinder Force Feedback). I am awaiting the delivery of my new Logitech G25 Wheel. I am hoping this will make more real to life rather than the twitchy type of feel I am getting now in simulation mode. Sorry to hijack the thread. Pete
