  1. Time to count down the days to another track day. Money sent and can't wait for the timing to start. "Jason, how about you even things up and not use your sticky tyres??"
  2. As stated, I will be there. Pewter 34 Sedan. Look for the baby seat lol.
  3. Well, if the departure time from Nudgee is to be 8:00am (probably later anyway) then I guess it would take the crew about 30 minutes to get to BP Morayfield, maybe longer due to holiday traffic. SO I was thinking of being at the Morayfield Northbound BP anytime after 8:00am but no later than 8:30 incase the guys get a good run and everything runs ontime........which I highly doubt. Gives us time to get some quick munchies etc. Yes, there is plenty of parking out the exit side of the BP in the car park(as you leave to go back on the highway). I will be waiting in that area. See you all there Peter
  4. I keep telling you to practice more!!!! Practice makes perfect......babies!!!!!
  5. PM SENT. Awaiting Reply. Cheers Pete
  6. Well done guys. Now all that you need to do is wait for the 6 week mark when the baby finally makes himself know........(SCREAMING) Enjoy your new family. I'm sure it will bring you all lots of happiness. Pete
  7. A few of us living at Morayfield and Caboolture will be doing a similar thing. We are planning to meet up at the BP Northbound and then wait for a phone call when the main group of cars will be driving through. I guess all we really need is some confirmation of times of when and where people will be? There won't be any need for the main group to stop or anything, we can just tack on as they drive by.
  8. The fact that I live in Morayfield means there is no excuse for me not being able to make it. As long as the wife and little one are happy to tag along of course. Might even visit the outlaws while I'm on Bribie. Count me in.
  9. I'm up for it. Always nice to meet fellow 'liners!!!
  10. Mind you when I bought the player, I quizzed the salesman on all aspects of the player including the fast forward (I found the details on teh internet) and he convinced me it would work. Long story short, it doesn't. Went back to hassle the salesman to find that he didn't work there anymore. Ohwell, like you said, the player rocks with all it's features. One question, have you tried inserting a DVD movie without having the screen connected? Does the audio still work? Thought this could be useful for music DVD's!! Sorry to hijack the thread.
  11. I too have the JVC-KD6105 player and am very happy with it and it's start times. However there is one thing that really annoys me and that is that you cannot fast forward MP3's songs that are recorded on a DVD disk. You can step forward to the next track or even move back to the previous track but you cannot fast foward a song. This can become pretty annoying when you have a MP3 that goes for 1.5hrs and you are only travelling small distances. Each time you restart your car it goes back to the start of the song and then you cannot fast forward. Other than that I love my player.
  12. Happy Birthday Jay with many more to come.
  13. Thanks for the info. It helps to hear true experiences to help deciding on tyres to buy.
  14. You got under engine plastic cover (intact screw holes)? I'll take it if you live Brisbane or Northern NSW!! Let me know by PM please!!
  15. Stafford Body Works. Ask for Allen. Always working on prestige cars and quite a few imports. BMW's, Merc's etc.
  16. I need new tyres too, but am after something that can take some track day racing but also provide superior dry and wet public road conditions for family safety. I had my eye set on the Yokohama AVS V102 or the AVS ES100 or even the AVS V103 but none of them are available in Australia in my 225/45 R17 size at the moment. I am currently using GIII's and and contemplating getting them again, unless someone can convince me of a better tyre for my requirements at around the same price <$300!! JMAC, how did "you" find the S03's in the wet??
  17. You got under engine plastic cover (intact screw holes)? I'll take it if you live Brisbane or Northern NSW!! Let me know by PM please!!
  18. Nothing to hide here...........I thought the extra 2 doors were plain enough to see????

  20. Muhahahahaha..................Just goes to show what can be done with a stocka (wifes car) and a very tight budget!!!! Many thanks to Chapman and Chapman and Elite Racing Develpoments!!! AFR's couldn't be any flatter!!!!!!
  21. Now now Dan, let's leave the kinky-ness to the confines of our private homes. After all this is a "G" rated forum!!!
