Superben I ain't really running it, only been like 300metres in it since bypassing the intercooler. Just making sure it would run ok.

Thanks for the useful bit of information Scotty. The symptoms to me didn't seen like it could be this, but am new to the rb engine. Next time I have a problem ill come straight to you.

Had a further look today and found the end cap on the intercooler had come apart!!! Bypassed the intercooler and happer well happier days. Still have major spluttering/misfiring at high boost 8+psi. Plugs being changed next

So this is my new car! Can't wait for it to work so I can drive it lol

With the new afm the car starts all the time and runs, but runs really bad once warm. When the coolant temp switch unplugged the revs go up by about 5/600 but the misfire and smoke still occur :-(

My stagea which I've owned for about 48 hours is doing my head in! Bought it and drove home ( 80miles ) half a mile away from my home the car misfired and cut out. Would only start when cold. I've changed the afm and it now starts all the time but when it warms up its smokes ( black ) no power, and when you put your foot down and the boost reaches 0psi the fuel cuts out completely until you release the throttle. Changed afm and O2 sensor. Still no luck. Don't wanna have to get rid if the car already but I can't keep throwing money at it and I haven't even driven it properly yet! Please help!
