  1. Day is off to a great start... left my wallet at home Now I need to find someone to lend me cash so I can get lunch and get my loaner car out of the car park :S On the bright side... the loaner car is a Micra Skid To Leave
  2. Naah, it's got to be dark to eat dinner But we could meet at ~6, and then it would be 6:30-7ish by the time we ate. That would work pretty well I reckon
  3. Why does the monthly dinner have to be so late? Don't really feel like staying at work until 6:30 I'm in IT, I should be leaving at 3
  4. Diesel is where it's at.
  5. Buy my leopard. Put 33 stuff in it. Massive win.
  6. I wasn't using them at the track... but others were and found them to be quite useless. I have used them on the road before though and they were terrible in the wet. This pair I just found in my garage, I think I bought them second hand from Pete. They are equally awful. You are right they are never going to be good in the wet due to their tread pattern. Just can't figure out why people keep buying them and claiming they are god's gift of cheap tyres when they are so, so bad in the wet :S. Guess the kiddies just love their liquid horsepower and don't know how much better it is to have tyres that actually provide some traction in the wet
  7. They're decent in the dry, but absolute rubbish in the wet. As quite a few at the sprint day last year will attest to . If you think they're 'quite good' in the wet, you need to try some other tyres
  8. So wedge now has SS595s on the back Forgot how unbelievably sh*t they are in the wet. Seriously, why does anyone use those tyres?
  9. At this stage it looks like I'll be able to make it
  10. Taylor Swift looks kinda like a dude so that makes sense
  11. Yeah, had to do this on the leopard. Farking VGs
  12. Go pro would be pretty rubbish for taking stills I think. It's only 1080P and has the stupid fish eye effect

    How Tight...?

I do about 90Nm using a rattle gun with a torque bar, or a torque wrench. If I have to do them by hand, about half a grunt
  14. Mine won't get here today. Thurs or Friday maybe
  15. $98 to fix the wedge cheering
  16. Sprayed it will Killrust
  17. Not going to be driving her on the road till i get the billies back in, but at least I can move her out of the garage now! I adjusted the clutch free play too and it feels a lot better. Still needs new fluid and a bleed though I reckon.
  18. Wedge is rolling again thanks to some spare rear shocks And found out the Navlux fits in the garage... just
  19. I didn't know you had a daughter
  20. Lol! Mine used to be 2, but reliability has not been so crash hot lately. Down to 1
  21. I don't care what the numbers say, there is no comparison. I went a few years ago and you NEEDED ear plugs. I didn't take any thinking "bah, I've heard race cars before, I won't need them". I was f*cking wrong and luckily I was able to get some at the track. They had one old V8 there (RB7) doing the ultimate speed comparison and even just that one running was borderline on wanting to block your ears, but with all 22 of the new ones running you don't even get close to needing them. dB is a logarithmic scale so a change of 10-15 is significant. But it's not just the volume but the nature of the sound, the old ones sounded just glorious while the new ones sound... agricultural?
