  1. Damn that sucks Tris, I couldnt be happier with how just cars dealt with me when I got rear ended. Rang up, they had someone come to me at my workplace the same day, and he let me pick which of the two quotes I went with. He sorted it out that arvo and I was able to drop the car at the panel beater the next day. Looks like you have been really unlucky, must be dealing with all the slackers or something
  2. They look plenty high enough to me... but yeah a bit thin. Empty shell isn't that heavy though so should be OK
  3. Yeah man I'll come along added some of you kents to msn (those that I could find details for) The rest of you add me (Tristan, Tas, etc)
  4. Dunno, but its running to well to have low compression
  5. Got my car back together with stock exhaust manifold on. Noise is gone and it goes like the clappers again, so I'm calling it fixed (y) Wound the boost up to 12 PSI Now just got to chase up the seller about this non NEO head
  6. Sorry guys my computer shat itself and been busy at work. I'm still up for tonight - see you at nandos
  7. SAU westside meet of non-skylines But yeah when you see my other ride you will see why I ain't washing it. I've never washed it since owning it
  8. Sounds good, I won't have the skyline though so I won't rock car wash
  9. I'm up for some BR action, I've got the night off for once
  10. If an F31 one works i'll bet anything a HR31 one does too. Shame that'll be just as hard to find Whats on for Thursday? I got the night off this week
  11. No SR. SRs fail almost as much as this exhaust manifold
  12. I'd lend you my backup, but I am using it ATM Looks like it is definitely not a NEO head . http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ea...ad-t269422.html Wrong number on the side of the head, wrong coil pack mounts. Shoulda researched this s**t more before buying it I suppose. On the bright side, hopefully it will be all good when back together with factory exhaust manifold now. But the low compression is still a bit of a worry - hopefully its my guage.
  13. Whats different about the NEO coil mounting bolts?
  14. Thanks for your help
  15. Also some pics of the exhaust cam/lifters. Can anyone who knows what they're looking at tell if these are solid or hydraulic?
  16. Sorry for the delay, here is the numbers from above cyls 2 and 3: 75T 12 So what does this tell me?
  17. I got a little bit drunk Pulled a cam cover off, can't see any shims in there so it may not be a NEO head, which would mean I have been ripped off Didnt see anything obviously wrong, and then spotted the stainless exhaust manifold was snapped almost in half. That could account for the funny noise, lack of power and boost, but not the low compression. But I don't have a lot of faith in my compression guage so yeah... So the plan is to put it back together with a factory manifold and see how it goes. If its still f**ked, I'll take it somewhere for a compression test and leakdown test to work out whats wrong. But hopefully it wont come to that. Need a new exh gasket and some other misc stuff though, but will hopefully be going back together next weekend. Oh, does anyway know where I can get the right sized copper washers for the banjo bolts? Super cheap/rapeco etc only have imperial ones. Gonna be spitting chips if this head isn't a NEO one but.
