Hi All,
I have an RB25DET which has a HKS adjustable actuator fitted. Currently its set with basically no tension in the spring, in order to run low boost, as I have been running the engine in. One thing i have noticed is it has a lot of boost creep. It will hit about 6psi hard then stop and creep to around 8.5 or 9.
One thing I am wondering, is it worth getting one of these turbotech boost controllers to control the boost? Which will give better boost control, adjusting boost via the actuator or using a turbotech? Will the boost creep be less of an issue with the actuator when there is tension in the spring?
Thanks in advance for any advice
Cheers,
Martin
P.S. No posts about EBCs please. I know these are the best way to go (and intend to in the future) but I have already blown my budget for this build (damn R31 drivers )
