  1. conservatory is pretty good, but if i was after a great seafood dinner at crown, at $65 a head plus drinks, i would head straight to Koko. classiest japanese restaurant in town
  2. depending on what sort of place you are after, one of my favourite seafood restaurants is Toofeys in Elgin St, Carlton. i actually went last night quite small, very classy, a little expensive, awesome food and service. menu changes DAILY in relation to what fish is fresh that morning at market, thats how good the quality of food is. only open tues-sat as fresh market seafood is unavailable sun & mon mornings, open for lunch and dinner. there is another one in St Kilda too (different name, may be same owner), but apparently isn't quite as good as Toofeys.
  3. needs more offset
  4. um, no. whoever told you that is either an idiot or they are laughing their arse off right now
  5. if its any consolation, i just had 4 pints of guiness over my lunch break. won a gay ass free hat too!
  6. try a search... or just look at this thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=84208
  7. It's covering the scratch on the rear bar...
  8. I don't personally see any way that this could really work, nor do I see any great appeal to having a "promo" car. Just because NS.com have one, why should SAU want one? NS.com will use it to showcase their sponsors, as that is what their forum runs off - business. I don't see the relevance of having a show-off car for the sort of club that SAU is. I know that I would rather see any money I would put into the club (whether it be national or state) used to continue the great planning and overseeing of events which we currently enjoy.
  9. i reckon this is the go, looks verrry nice - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=108457
  10. Awesome day Saturday, although I had to leave before the main photo shoot to get to work by 5. Heres a couple of pics I got from my camera phone - * Photos edited to blur plates. If anyone else is paranoid about having your plates on the net, pm me and I'll fix the rest.
  11. hmmm, so someone giving you a bit of shite on an internet forum is reason enough to get your lawyer to suit up for you... thats a bit toolish
  12. mav should be right, i saw the article and the 33 was bright orange, not yellow. thought it might have been allblitz's 33, but it isn't
  13. i had some enkei's fixed about two years ago, had a pretty decent sized chunk out of one of them. cost somewhere around $180 per rim (don't quote me on that was a while ago)
  14. where you located?
  15. maybe engine light reading high knock levels?
  16. good to hear mate, it is a very nice stretch of road to drive. if you're keen to cruise it in the next few weeks with another 50+ skylines, become a SAU Vic member best event of the year and its members only, so join up - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=60590
  17. sorry Veilside R33, that was actually directed at the seller in this thread (easyst)
  18. honestly, if he could verify that the car had genuinely only done 68thou since 1993 (ie log books, service records), then the price would be a hell of a lot higher than 26k. car looks great, but checking it out in person and deciding for yourself is the only way. keen for a swap & cash with a 33 gtst? check my sig mate
  19. if you go ahead with that at those prices, you are getting ripped
  20. just farkin do it. make sure you get a good vid of it tho, that way we can all see what ruining two perfectly good rims and guards looks like so it doesn't need to be done again
  21. Still would like to see photos on r33 s2 frontbar before purchasing...
  22. ...the lights at the drag sanctioned race track right? hmmm. my first skyline was a nice NA gts 33 (with 400r front and fully rice GTR badge, lol), sounded hell loud so people would hear me coming from a mile away. one saturday night pulled up at a set of lights next to an immaculate white S15 with two very good looking blonde girls in it, me and a mate in my car. gave a little nod, and got a smile and nod back, then lights turned green. pulled away slowly then gave a little squirt as we both entered the freeway, and she in turn put the foot down and promptly whipped past me with ease. not so embarassing in itself, except that we actually saw them again later and my mate tried to explain that my "gts-t" was in bad need of a tune... *bitchslaps idiot liar mate*
  23. i'll be interested to see this happen, was looking at the ebay ones the other day. outer colour: black inner colour: black stitching colour: red extra material (what part): no logo (what logo): no
  24. yep, go see n1 service factory. got a mate who got an original c-west s15 wide body kit thru them.
