  1. hey mate, any chance you can source the blue work wheel nuts and possibly centre caps for these rims? thanks
  2. don't do it! the only reason a car should have a different coloured bonnet is if it is carbon fibre, or if you are saving up for a respray after an accident! think about what else you could spend the couple of hundred dollars on - new ebc/cam gears+tune/sway bars etc. etc... obviously this is just my opinion, but i honestly can't stand seeing a perfectly fine bonnet that has been sprayed black. any one disagree???
  3. I've been pretty slack gettin round to this, but here goes - Nick: thommo Name: James Location: Bacchus Marsh (50 mins out West of the city) Car : R33 GTSt Age : 24 Pics : / Below / Cheers!
  4. yep, mines factory blue, can't remember the colour code. it kinda looks blue green at times, not sure if it has had a pearl put thru it too. these photos were taken pretty late, around 5:30pm so it's pretty dark
  5. I'm in for an 040. I've sent a PM mate. Cheers
  6. hey, i've got march 2004 (issue232, V12 MarkII Jag on cover) & april/may 2004 (issue 234, L88 Corvette on cover) if you need them. cheers
  7. yep new / unused is what i'm after. Blitz, can be had for around that price new - http://perfectrun.com.au/performance%20par...itionsystem.htm but can't be bothered waiting for them to come from o/seas, or the 2 months or so for the group buy (which i was originally a part of until it failed). just seeing if anyone had a set they wanted to get rid of, if not then i will have to place my order from either perfectrun or greenline and be patient . thanks for your input guys
  8. As above, I'm after an unused set of Splitfires to suit a Series 1 R33 GTSt (SF-DIS-001). Looking to spend around $600, I'm in Melbourne. Please pm me if you can help. Cheers, James
  9. damn, can't believe i missed out on this. i'm putting my interest down now for the next buy if i'm too late for an 040 on this one.
  10. pretty sure there are a couple of old threads on this. before trying to take em apart, i'd definately try a few methods of cleaning. i use toothpaste (sounds dumb but does the job ) and a heap of elbow grease and they come up well. the other thing i have done is gone to a panelbeater and got them to basically cut and polish the cover, looked brand new. if these don't work, then try the oven trick.
  11. when i had my NA 33 i took it to nissan in melton for a full service (im from bacchus marsh), wouldn't really recommend them, i could have done the same job myself. about to do the next stage for my gtst and will be taking it into someone who has decent knowledge, rather than someone who is close to me. i really think it is worth travelling for the peace of mind.
  12. actually, i've heard it is possible to play roulette and never lose out. you bet on a 50/50 (ie black/red, odd/even, 1-18/19-36) which will double your money if you win, say for example i bet $5 on black. if i don't win then i double my original bet on the next spin ($10), which will take into account the loss i had on the last spin. then if this doesn't win again, i put down $20 and so on. as long as you continue to double your previous bet, and continue to play a 50/50, you will always make your money back. problem with this is that if you have a bad run then you will need to have a substantial amount of money to play, as the money needed to get back your loss will grow exponentially. not much fun though. there definately are ways around some games, card counting in black jack increases chances of winning dramatically, it's just that security will definately not be too keen on keeping you around...
  13. very rarely would a modern cars price actually go up. but in saying that, i think that 34's will keep their value reasonably well. they are still relatively rare as opposed to other models, and there are not a great deal of them being complianced atm. i would say they will only go down a couple of grand in a years time.
  14. i'll give you $50 delivered to melb.
  15. if it moves, i will bet on it love to hit up crown on the odd occasion, gen play blackjack, baccarat or roulette (mostly in the same night....)
  16. maybe get 5 and chain the angriest one to the steering wheel to jog your memory...? but seriously, a decent alarm with angle sensor will help too.
  17. just go ask at your local tyre service, they will def have some. got some ages ago, think it was around $15 for a set (don't quote me on that). either that or buy 4 big dogs and chain them to the wheels each night
  18. may be a dumb question, but how do you gap the plugs?
  19. will definately be running richer as the ecu is still trying to run factory settings. safc or chip can be used to alter your air fuel ratios which would definately help your fuel consumption and give a nice little gain in performance. there is heaps of info round here, try a search
  20. you can try - http://nismo.com.au/pricelists/pricelist_s...er33styling.htm bit expensive in my opinion, but i think that is the kit you're after
  21. is that price reg'd and on the road? if not how much would that be?
  22. got any recent photo's, is it in a car atm?
  23. how old are the nismo 550cc? what level of tune was the rb25 they were they used on?
