  2. is that coz the latch no longer springs shut, ie you have to hold the latch open to shut the console lid? if so this can be fixed in 10mins using a safety pin let me know, i can pm you details of how i did it.
  3. nice looking car mate, all the best. as a matter of interest, how much you lookin at paying for an r34 gtr?
  4. yep, also keen for a bootlid. airbox to surround pod filter would be pretty popular too.
  5. it would want to be 4wd! if atv stands for all terrain vehicle i dunno how well the wheel tyre combo would go up a muddy hill..
  6. cool pics! was an awesome day, good to be able to sneak into the pit area for a bit of a sniff around too
  7. hey! no ones sposed to know about that...
  8. As some of you who check out other internet forums may know, Channel 10 will be airing highlights of the Full Lock Drift Nationals round 1 from Calder Park :headspin: . From what I understand, it will be aired as part of Trackside on Sunday 24 April. I for one am wrapped to hear this, and will be showing my support by turning up this weekend and also by letting Channel 10 know that there is huge interest. Maybe we could get Drift on commercial TV on a regular basis, how good would that be???
  9. go for the smoked ones, i got them for my dark blue r33 and my mate has clear on his black r33. smoked are still only very light grey, very subtle difference. the clear ones make it too easy to see the orange blinker thru the clear lens and the smoked ones make the car look heaps cleaner. also don't look too ricey (IMO) as opposed to the clear ones.
  10. For anyone else interested, here are the photo's/instructions DAN00H was talking about. Pics to be read in conjunction with word doc
  11. for something that needs to be reliable in it's performance such as a boost controller, i think you're best to go for a well known unit. the jaycar boost control is fine if you have the time and knowhow to set it up, but if you're like me and just want something that you can get fitted and basically have no worries with go for AVCR or SBC idIII. both can be found for around 570-630 new.
  12. where in victoria are you located? also where was the pfc tuned previously?
  13. i'll be headin down for a look on sunday during the day with a few mates. any chance i can sign up for a membership on the day? been a slack bugger, havent made it to a meeting yet...
  14. hehe, i think your missing all the fun, rb25 is quite capable of handling double theses revs happily :headspin: . very rarely do i shift at anything less than 2.5k, unless in traffic. does that make me a hoon??
  15. i've used greenline and nengun, both reliable and easy to deal with. i always check out nissansilvia.com in the "for sale from sponsors" section too. the 15 year olds that attend the site manage to whinge the prices down to some of the cheapest i have found also found prices on perfectrun.com.au to be ok as well, but am yet to use them
  16. hey, there are plenty of posts on this, here is a link to a tutorial on the subject. talk to skylinegeoff about where to get em http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...=hicas+lock+bar
  17. whoa, that sounds pretty bad... what type of rims and where did you get em fitted? are you running spacers at all? i'd be taking it straight in to the nearest tyre centre or suspension/brake service ASAP.
  18. The boss is still pretty cut up about it, going nuts at the moment on the phone to insurance companies. It wasn't so much the actual house I was interested in, it was a bit of a hole. Was a pretty decent development opportunity though, as well as the fact it had a massive 12m x 8m garage... But as you say, another one will come up.
  19. hehe, cheers guys. freaky shhit
  20. Apparently the slasher blade on the boss's tractor hadn't been done up correctly, and as soon as the tractor was started part of the blade (about 10cm wide by 20cm long) broke off and was spat out the back. As you can see from the photo's, the blade must have only missed my car by about 10cm. The boss's patrol never had a chance to move...
  21. :headspin:
  22. Guys, sometimes it might seem like you're not having the greatest day, but check out how quickly luck can turn around. Woke up this morning (my birthday) still kinda hung over from a massive Easter weekend. As i'm getting ready to go to work, I get a phone call from the real estate agent telling me that I had been outbid on a house i had pretty much thought was mine :kick: So I've been sittin at work all day feelin sorry for myself, wishing i was elsewhere. Until about 4pm. There was a massive noise outside the office, sounded like someone had crashed into my car. Here are some photo's of the scene that confronted me when i got outside -
  23. I got it from evianwater... saw the name and thought wtf??? hope this can be cleared up
