  1. spot on, this was exactly how my car needed to be started after putting in an uprated fuel pump. turn your car to acc, wait a sec then try turning it over.
  2. this thread's title should be changed to "battle of the keyboard warriors"
  3. lol, tosser. internet wars excite you a bit eh? move on bud
  4. what looks/feels good to some may not be the same as your idea of what looks/feels good, no need to talk down to people and be such a toss. i'd prob have a new 6L camaro over a 34 gtr too for what its worth
  5. na realised it was a 33, but i thought they were weds sa-70's with a huge offset.... my bad
  6. fark i love those weds with decent offset on a 4 door... even better on a chaser
  7. smart decision to ditch the supercharging idea, you should get plenty more constructive advice and ideas on your proposed build. the best thing for you to do in this thread is to state your exact end requirements and see what others more knowledgable can suggest to get you there, cos it will take a lot.... i'd say your first move would be to ditch the idea of keeping and modifying your current engine regardless of what your budget may be. All the best!
  8. i agree totally dezz... just as long as those who go ahead and buy the lower offset realise that they may have clearance issues and are gonna have to allow for that in tyre selection, suspension and possible guard mods
  9. Absolutely perfect mate, havent seen a better wheel choice on a 35. Final wheel/tyre sizes and offsets?
  10. google "pixel cars"
  11. you dont have to have hard suspension to improve your cars performance. search it out on here i laughed harder at you for saying that than anything you coulda done to your ecu. sounds like you're all about perception rather than performance mate.... none of the above bolt ons will likely give you much of a gain without upgrading your turbo. dont take offence mate, im really trying to help ya here - my suggestion would be if you just want a high dyno number then go in with your car as is and tell that to the dyno operator and he can easily alter some numbers to get you a figure you're proud of. if you want more power, then have a search on here about what other people have done, then ask some questions. you'll get a lot more respect that way
  12. change your turbo and get it tuned properly by a competent tuner if you want more power. even better, go to a decent tuner and ask them. they will tell you what needs to be done to it, better than any advice you'll get outta this thread or from a mate in a workshop who tells you you'll get more power changing from an afm to map... ps - you're running semi slicks but havent thought hard about suspension??
  13. na, TE-37's look shite on gts-t's / gtt's, not enough offset to get depth into the spokes. GTR only, same with LM-GT4's
  14. i had 18" bronze work emotion's on my old 33, looked pretty sweet i thought
  15. no, that isnt the logic. the logic is spending the amount in question for a result which seems a little fanciful, is a waste of cash. is your vq30dett costing you 30k? what sort of power do you think you'll be pushing once complete?
  16. had a quick search but i'm not sure there are any details on it still around. was a black r33 gts + s/c built by a guy called nick in melbourne. had big transformers stickers over it and was shown at auto salon quite a few years back. put out under 200rwkw from memory, i think around 180. if you havent already, i suggest you check out posts by a user on here called NA_R33. his car is actually for sale for about how much you're looking at spending on your 2.7+s/c
  17. um, i've seen a s/c'd na skyline in vic built at great expense. it was bitterly disappointing to the owner who thought they were gonna end up with something more special than a lightly modded gts-t, disappointing mainly cos they didnt end up with anything particularly special at all. the way i see it, building a supercharged skyline that goes as well as a lightly modded turbo skyline is like swimming to tasmania when there is a perfectly good boat you could have jumped on in the first place..... all the best anyways i guess not even gonna bother to address the nuff nuff who is keen for more power so he can "spin his back wheels whether the cops like it or not" lol
  18. i did assume R&R would keep it pretty safe, but wouldnt it run like a pig tho? (havent been in the car obviously)
  19. Did a search and couldnt find much to answer my question. So Im looking at an R34 and the owner has fitted a gtr-s (quoted as running 11psi) but has retained the standard ecu? car has been driving like this for 15,000km (18 months). Does this sound right? Surely the stock ecu is struggling to work out what is going on and the car would drive pretty ordinarily... i'm kinda assuming he's had something in there ie pfc, which he wants to keep post sale. Mods include - ebc, full exhaust, 040 pump, front mount and zorst. Cheers
  20. hmmm. show us some pics
