  1. what turbos are you running to make the 270awkw?
  2. shite thread... a fair bit of sensible advise mixed in with a whole lot of tuff-internet-advice. what i'd tell you if you asked me the question: - if you buy the 34 be prepared to spend heaps more than you should and when people ask about the car you'll still have to tell them its only NA. you'll have an ok car at a young age, but more than likely you'll be in debt - if you wait then you will save yourself hassles and money, and your life will be so much better in your early 20's in all aspects. you'll have the same level of car as most others at a young age and more than likely you'll be ahead financially in the future its up to you
  3. bump $400
  4. for anyone who wants a set without the wait, i have dark grey unwrinkled to suit R33 front and rear seats. bought them in the first group buy and then promptly sold my car... after the same amount of $400 pm if interested
  5. bump, $430 pick up
  6. on the front bar of my old 33 i didn't want to cut the plates so used spacers/washers to bring the plate to just flush with the front bumper.
  7. double post
  8. lol, funny you should say that, just sold my 33 and am now driving a 156. rarely troubled in the 33, first week in the alfa was actually asked in a random breath test if the plate position on my 156 was factory
  9. if its not worth it, then move on. it may not be worth that much to you, but it might be to someone else
  10. nother bump
  11. i have a set in dark grey for r33 if you're interested - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=135924
  12. SOLD. Cheers Sam
  13. lol, i know i know... strangest thing is my new car has real grey leather and it didn't even cross my mind. must say a big thanks to Jetdat, the organisation and information presented thruout the buy was exceptional. very happy with how it all went.
  14. yep received mine in the post today, yet to open the box though. actually totally forgot about these in the last few weeks.... my car has since been sold!! so if anyone is interested in a dark grey set, i'll have these up for sale shortly
  15. sorry, it's not the actual guage, he sighted "oil around oil pressure switch (sender)", possibly from me spilling a little oil when changing the filter last. only item on his list other than stock airbox thought fair enough, rang up bursons and got the part, but now the mechanic is too busy to fit it this arvo. buyer is flying in tonight and driving back to the ACT, so i'm kinda in a bit of a hurry
  16. in addition to the above, can anyone help me out regarding the method of changing the oil pressure sender on an R33? I have the new sender and can see where the plug goes into the old one, just need to know how to go about changing it or whether it is best left to a mechanic. don't want oil to be spilling out all over the place if i remove it. this is a requirement of a RWC and i kinda need this sorted this afternoon! any help hugely appreciated. (apologies for posting in 2 sections, need an answer asap)

  18. saw that quote in my email subscription update and thought you had added more pics.... never mind.
  19. thanks for that mate, although in terms of R33's I wouldn't say that our cars are all that similar. congrats on having more power... the problem with trying to sell 33's is that the bad examples are after so much less than the good ones. you can pick up a dodgy 33 for 12k that is totally shagged, but if you are after something decent it shouldn't be under the 18k mark. as with everything in life, you get what you pay for
