  1. High speed only, above 80km/h from memory. Search the suspension section in the main board, there should be heaps there, maybe even a sticky. Yours will be the same as a R33/34.
  2. Yeah, look at the harness. Give it a wiggle while the car is idleing
  3. Try using some brass plugs in there, make sure you get the right thread pitch/size. When you put them in use a sealer, I'm pretty sure loctite will make something suitable, or good old stag should work. Do them up tight and leave it off the car until the sealer cures.
  4. Also try searching HICAS (rear wheel steer). It's the rods on the end of the HICAS unit that adjust the toe on the rear.
  5. Before any mods it pays to replace everything that has worn out, shocks, tie rod ends, bushes. Just bringing this stuff back to new will help alot! Best mod(s) = Swaybars and adjustable caster bushes(more cater)
  6. I want to put some new speakers into my S1 Stagea. What I'm thinking is just 4 speakers in the doors, as I use the back to carry stuff. I'm have very limited knowledge when it comes to sound systems, I can install etc easily but I'm just not up with what's good and what's not. In the car at the moment is a JVC KD-AVX11 hooked up to standard speakers (in doors, tweeters in A pillar) The music I listen to is rock/punk and commercial stuff. I don't listen loud. Budget - Around $300 less would be good but that's expecting too much I think. I do not expect super high quality or anything, just better than stock. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks Aaron PS. I know some people at JB HIFI so could get their gear a little cheaper.
  7. Yeah, got a set, make an offer
  8. FRONT PADS FOR SER 1. Lucas pads DB1398. I had this number laying around for when I need some pads, I think it came from the brake thread.
  9. Cut it close with anything, then use a bastard file to finish it off, it will leave a smoother nicer shape as long as you use long strokes. Get a half round bastard
  10. Wouldn't the speakers be infront of the window, so the magnet would be the thing that hits???
  11. That's cool, I may have to just pull the trim off and look for myself.
  12. I just found this e-monitor I will be giving this a go after my next oil change and post up some results. I was running 300v but just can't justify it with the all the daily commuting I do. I have just changed to Nulon 10-40 Fast flowing stuff, will see how it goes in 5000km.
  13. As the topic description states, I want to know what will fit with no mods, spacers etc. Depth is the main dim. I'm after. I will be using spacers etc. but I need to know how deep I can go without them first so I can buy some speakers. I'm after both front and rear also. Thanks Aaron
  14. That really sucks mate, I don't have any spares unfortunatly. Good luck getting her thru
  15. I'm after the cap that goes on the end of the side skirt, right rear side, any chance????
  16. Nah, no way i'm driving all the way back down there to inspect the 1000s of potholes for the one I hit. Would cost me as much in fuel as it would be to get it fixed. Anyway, dropped it at wheel works this arvo, should be ready tomorrow and cost me $132. Extensive were busy and could only get it done by friday. If it ends up needing to be welded it'll be another 3 days and $80 (or something, can't remember) because it will need to be heat treated.
  17. Here's a pic of my ride, I've also got a Mongoose Black Diamond Double in the shed.
  18. I used to race BMX 7years ago. Looking to get back into it for a bit of fitness. Also did dirt jumping and some park stuff for fun.
  19. I was fishing down yorks and was on a dirt road, possibly national park. I'll just fix it at my own expense.
  20. If I was to get something made up, to hold guages in the area below the din panels, over the cig lighter and ash tray, would people be interested in getting one also? What i'm planning is to make up a mould to fit the area perfectly. Then lay in a few layers of carbon fibre, once it's set I'll trim them up. If a few people would like them, or i couldn't get it looking good, I'd get the carbon fibre work done professionally. But by machining up a nice mould it should make things much easier either way.
  21. Cheers for that, any idea on price/time frame for this sort of work?
  22. Can anyone recommend somewhere that I can get my rims fixed, the inner lip has been bent and is leaking air. I'm thinking Wheel Works, but have heard they are a little expensive.
  23. What guages heve you got MIKE? I was thinking about making up a panel that covers the ash tray and cig lighter to take 3 or 4 52-60mm guages. Then wire a cig lighter plug into the centre consol. I want atleast 2 guages, oil press and boost. If i can fit more in I'll also put in a oil temp and water temp. If i could wire a switch between 3 sensors I'd have the temp guage so it can display water, oil and trans temps. Not sure if it's possible, but I don't see why not
