  1. I've got a couple of 4wd RB25DET blocks and heads that I'm wanting to get out of my parents shed. Both motors have low compression. Both have sumps and rocker covers off, one is missing an intake cam. If you are after any bits and pieces let me know.
  2. My tuner has recommended I leave it in the car so it's no longer for sale. Thanks Aaron
  3. I'm after a standard torque converter for a series 1 stagea in Adelaide. Thanks Aaron
  4. I'm selling a modified torque converter to suit a series 1 Stagea. The stall speed has been bumped up to suit a hi flowed turbo with an op6 rear housing. It was done by MV Automatics and cost me $500. I'm looking for $200 and would prefer a local sale. I'm located in Adelaide.
  5. Tell me more about this PCS controller? Would it work on lo a c34 series 1 transmission
  6. If I was to go manual I'd just go full manual conversion. I'm going to talk to the guys at mv automatics and see what it actually needs to shift.
  7. I'm not 100% that it would be any use to me anyway, I'll need to wire it in parallel to the s1 ecu to keep the box working. I'll have to talk to some people.
  8. Do you have an uncut reo? Are they the same as s1? How much for the Nistune?
  9. Does the radiator have the transmission stuff in the lower tank? Is the steering wheel tiptronic or manual?
  10. Do you still have the manual steering wheel? Do you happen to know if a S1 and S2 reo are the same?
  11. How much for the front seats? Can I get a picture of the front bar? Thanks Aaron
  12. A water to air intercooler is the best mod I've done to mine. Fits nicely in the engine bay, so much more response than a front mount.
  13. Series 1 Stageas have 3 different ECUs, all with different pin outs. Best to check with a multimeter.
  14. You can't, all of the manuals only show one type. Even if you trace them back you still won't know where they go on the new ECU. It would be best to just get a matching number ECU, you may need to look on Yahoo Japan Auctions
  15. Be careful you get the right one, there were 3 ECUs for the series 1, all with different pin outs.
  16. You should be running 98 minimum. The 100 octane ethanol blends are fine and in most cases better. You will pick up quite a bit of midrange response.
  17. Yes, I'm pretty sure you can subtract timing too, it's been a while since I've played with mine. A lot of the time tuners don't understand how they work, I had a tune once and the guy didn't even adjust the injection map, just played with the AFM output, won't be going back there.
  18. You can subtract fuel with the emanage blue. It supports larger injectors so it must reduce the duration for it to do that. Worst case would be to set the injectors larger than they are to make the duration shorter, then bring the duration back up via the injection map. The maps all add and subtract from the CPU output. If the CPU is outputting a duty cycle of 10% and you add 10%, the new duty cycle will be 11%.
  19. A guy at work has one for an R33, never been installed, with hand controller from memory. How much do these go for now?
  20. That's side feed injectors.
  21. I'm selling 6x 740cc side flow Injectors to suit RB25DET. $300 ono. Would be great for a mid power E85 set up which is what I was using them for. I'm going back to pulp as I want to take the car away on road trips.
  22. The caltex on main north road in Salisbury is overcharging for e85. It should be around 20 to 25c below 91 unleaded, the last time I checked it was only 5c below. It's a pity as it's on my way to work. Is this the same for all caltex servos?
  23. I'll take the second if you want them both gone.
  24. If I had to do this again I would be dropping the engine and gearbox, lifting the car back over it. It was a pain in the a*** doing the engine only.
