  1. Some driving instructors teach on saturdays, do some ringing around. Plus they'll teach you quicker and better than anyone else. It is their job after all!
  2. Brand- Blitz SBC-ID 3 Price- $590 delivered from nengun Features- http://www.nengun.com/catalogue/product/317 likes/dislikes- Easy to instal and use, very accurate, comes on boost very quickly, has 4 different settings, easy to adjust on the fly, has a replay function. I've gone the stealth install with mine, the display is not that fashy but functional. Here is a previous discussionLINK The only thing that is going to save your fuel is your right foot!!!

  7. ah, that explains it then. I had no idea what was going on
  8. Yeah, a good cruise but a little short, even after going the fun way back behind nightcrawler. You should have gone strait on at Lyndock, it's a good little road with no traffic!
  9. I'm going, first time so i'm pretty excited. Plus I managed to get some tickets for free!!!
  10. Oh, and while in here, how can we talk about "dodgy" mods without mentioning the guy at the SCS Hillclimb with the leaf blower, now that's Aussie enginuity! PS excuse the spelling
  11. Why don't you just take it out aswell? Try ringing Tilbrooks, Jaustech, Viva, D1
  12. you can get almost every original part from Nissan. Get your VIN of the rego or the plate under the bonnet and give them a call.
  13. Have you topped up the fluid recently? I think R33s have a hydro cluch **runs out to car to check**(not really, i'm too lazy)
  14. Yeah, the thicker the better but it is best to seal it with a few coats of paint as it is the moisture in the air that makes it buckle. Just grab a couple of spray cans from the hardware store and go crazy. Another tip is to use PVA glue to seal the joins this is strong enough to hold the whole thing together once dry. A couple of screws won't go astray but you only need them to hold the thing together until the glue dries. Doing it this way actually makes it stronger than a box held together by thousands of screws.
  15. When can we expect PMs?
  16. I just have a standard turbo with a Blitz SBC I-DIII- electronic boost controller. You can notice a difference even when you run stock boost(8PSI) it comes on so much earlier and sharper. I usually run 10-12 psi depending on the mood. Having the EBC makes it really easy to switch between setting. The EBC i have is extreamly accurate, as in +- 0.1 psi 90% of the time the other 10% would be +-0.2 psi (at 12 psi on a 8psi actuator) I think even if you were to run the same boost with a good EBC you will be happy with the gains. And when the novelty wears off you have the facilities to turn it up.
  17. i got an alarm that was recomended by my insurance company at the time(famous) Now i'm not sure if it was the alarm itself or the id#### that installed it but it sucks. I've had problems with the central locking and all sorts. I won't name it on here, or the installers but if you want to know pm me. I'm thinking about getting another one installed to replace the dodgy one i have.
  18. Put me down for this one. I missed the last due to a hangover so i'm keen to get out.
  19. Handy link, Thankyou
  20. May well be the same guy, a Polish bloke i think. The guys at work can't get over how cheap he is. The only thing is that he just polishes, if there are any dents etc that need to be polished out you will need to get that done elsewhere and then give the rims to him. Otherwise you'll just end up with polished dents/scratches. One of the members on here may be able to help you out in that area as he is a great polisher, might cost ya a couple of dollars but i can vouch for the work-A1. I won't name names incase he's not interested.
  21. I found these on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Enkei-Racing-Wheels...1QQcmdZViewItem
  22. Don't have his details on me, he used to advertise in the trader occasionally, don't know if he still does. If I remember I'll grab the details from work tomorrow.
  23. I'm gonna need to know meet points etc pretty soon so i can plan my weekend. Thanks guys
  24. I've got a mate who paints his wheels on a regular basis, red, then white, then black........... He just uses spaypaint. looks pretty good, you've just got to put it on even and in light coats. Oh, and clean them really well first, probably best to use some sort of solvent.
  25. IINET - $80 for 1500/256 20mb limit Runs much, much slower, around the 100kbps mark, not happy
