  1. Condition of rotors? Have they been previously machined? separate?
  2. I've been having some dramas while tuning my E-manage. Whenever I set the injector adjustment units to duration rather than duty the car dies and won't start. Even when the map is empty. Has anyone had this before? I'm using the latest firmware on an E type board. Another thing, in previous posts it has been mentioned that the only jumper that needs to be changed from the factory setting is jp8 5v to 12v. What about jumper 21? From the jumper explanations in the manual it seems it should be set to one thing, the diagram shows it in a different position and it is not mentioned at all in the table. Should I go with don't change it from factory, or go with what the expination says?
  3. PMed
  4. Emanage Blue - no harness, a few minor scratches - $200 ono Software and cable to suit Emanage Blue - $50 ono (Was $100 to buy) Emanage Ultimate Harness, N9 - Suit early SR I think - never used, still in bag, could dissasemble to use with emanage Blue - $100 ono

  6. Could you please send me a pic so I can see what style it is. Cheers
  7. I don't pop in here very often, I won't be back for a while Poor form steve, poor form!
  8. How about the steering wheel, is it standard? Available? Cost?
  9. I recently got a MTX-L and it works a treat so far. They are actually cheaper to get them direct from one of the Australian dealers than from eBay, which is good if you should ever need warranty
  10. It may be easier to get at from under the car. You'll have to remove a ton of plastic first
  11. I'm about to tackle tuning my stagea which has an emu. I was thinking about not using the boost cut function but rather using the AF adj map to get under the rich and retard. That way I'd maintain the safety features of the factory ECU. Any thoughts?
  12. I got mine from sprints at Munno Para. Was $115 from memory
  13. Where abouts are you? You could borrow it if you like, but the soonest I can get it is tomorrow night and I'm up north.
  14. You need one of those tools that you hit with a hammer. I ended up having to buy one for the same bolt. Cost me over $100 but does it easy. I'll see if i can find a pic..... One of these. They say they can generate 500nm of torque, I say they aren't using a big enough hammer. You will be able to undo it with the car out of gear so you will avoid putting load through the drive train. I may lend it out for liquid renumeration
  15. Get the tyre repaired?
  16. E-manage Blue, no harness but does come with software and cable. I will even throw in a USB to serial adaptor that works with the unit. Unit is in good working order. Looking for $300 ono. Plug in GReddy E-Manage ULTIMATE Harness N-9, to suit Nissan Silvia, 180SX, S13, SR20DE(T) 1/91 > 7/96. Brand new, has never been installed. Asking $100
  17. the trouble with the front shafts are that the angle never changes as the engine, transfer case and trans are all bolted together, so the load is always in the one spot. Realistically the could almost have gotten away with a solid shaft, but that wouldn't allow for any misalignment.
  18. I'll plumb it up for you, into my car Blitz SBC ID III is what I had in my R33, was awesome, any of the Blitz dual solenoid units will keep you happy. When I bought mine several years ago i found a comparison between all the top brands and it came out on top.
  19. As for a rebuild, maybe try MVAutomatics, if they don't do them they will know who does.
  20. The amount of slip in the transfer case is not set by preload. It is controlled by the Altessa ( pardon the spelling) computer and the attached pump etc. You need to look for a controller if you want to adjust that sort of stuff.
  21. I wouldn't mind checking out the hybrid function on a Z68 system to see how it performs with a 60G SSD and a 1T HDD. If only I had the coin to upgrade ATM
  22. I'm not sure benchmarks are going to show how these drives perform. They only have 4G SSD which the drive stores regularly accessed data. From what I have read all writes go to the mechanical side. So things like random reads etc may not be that great unless they are run several times over. I'll see if I can find the article where I read this. EDIT: here it is
  23. I have been running a XT for a while now, changed from a first gen SSD. I have to say that it's not massively slower, easily offset by the 500G size and cheap price.
  24. Even 100RON E10 seems to have much better drivability than 98. It was very noticeable in my R33.
  25. Real lovers = people who have used the stuff Real haters = people who have not That's the way it comes across anyway.
