  1. I mean what standard ECU is it for, there are 3 different series 1 ecus, all with different pinouts.
  2. That sounds promising, but what year is the factory ecu from? Mine is the one that was only used for 1 month of production so I doubt it'll fit, is it possible for you to check the standard Stagea ecu number for me? Is the R32 ecu nistuned?
  3. Ok, I'm still looking for an ecu. If anyone has one stashed in the corner of their shed, let me know.
  4. Ok, I'm still looking for one. If anyone has one please send me a message
  5. Cheers QWK32, was a great help. Aaron
  6. As the title says, I'm after a part number/numbers for a series 2 stagea rs4 AT ecu. Any help will be most appreciated Cheers Aaron
  7. Unfortunately I don't have any, the best I can do is this one fron another thread on here (thanks Tangles) Photo And this one
  8. I have these rim I need to get rid of. They are Speedy Envys 8x18", 5x114, 38 offset. One rim has a fair amount of rash, other rims are reasonable condition. These will fit a Stagea but require spacers to clear R33 brakes. Located in Adelaide $600 ono pickup
  9. 580cc Injectors, Side feed, Japanese made but unsure of brand. They have red tops and will fit an RB25 non NEO with no mods. $450
  10. I recon $1000 is pretty steep I paid under $500 for a timing belt kit and water pump to be installed on my stagea. I wouldn't think fluids would double the price.
  11. You don't want to stripe, if one goes you'll lose both, doubling your chance of failure. Mirror with 2 disks or RAID5 with three disks is good for backups, both options have 1 disk of redundancy with RAID5 giving a performance increase. Raid0 is only for going fast and for anything you don't want to keep. If your data is really important, get a docking station for a HDD and back up onto a 2TB drive and then unplug it and put it in your safe. Raid is good if a disk dies but if you get a virus or accidentally delete something you're still screwed. Having the drive unplugged also protects you from stuff like power surges, theft and system malfunction.
  12. Sled, once you get it all sorted with that drive might pay to buy a couple of 1TB drives put them in raid 1 for backup. Will only cost you a couple of hundred to set up.
  13. The s1 Stageas have the R34 plug so I think S2 stagea ecu will be the go. Unfortunately the one above is sold.
  14. I think the R34 will be a better match as the r32 doesn't have VCT. I want a nistune as I can't afford any other management right now. If i was going to get something stand alone I'd wire it from scratch, but the S2 Stagea ecu will (hopefully) be mostly just pin swaps to get it to work.
  15. It's been a while as I've had other things to get done first, but I'm at the stage now where I really need to sort this ECU out. If anyone has one PM me what you want for it. Cheers Aaron
  16. I can't say for sure if it will work or not but if it can go one way you would think it would go back and Atleast run the engine. The only other thing I can think would be a problem is the neutral switch. Could be nasty having the car start in gear
  17. I'm pretty sure the AT ECU is a separate beast all together, located behind the drivers side kick panel. The only thing that you will loose is possibly the ignition retard on gear changes which isn't a problem if you have a good shift kit in there
  18. Pretty sure the speed sensor for a r32 is at the back of the dash, connected to the speedo cable. If you've had the dash out recently there is a chance that it wasn't clipped in properly. Having said that, if your speedo is working it's probably not the case.
  19. Hmmm, very tempted. I'm looking to wire it up to my s1 engine so I'm not sure if it'll even work at this stage. It should tho, even if I have to replace some sensors with NEO ones. From what I've heard the hardest part is getting around the traction control but I'm pretty sure the RS4S doesn't have tc. Is this correct?
  20. As the topic says, I'm after a S2 ECU and possibly loom if anyone has one. Any 4wd NEO ecu and loom will be ok. Cheers Aaron
  21. I'd be keen but my stag is off the road for the time being
  22. I just performed this on a S1 Stagea and have a few things to amend to the right hand side notes. The "lock ring" is not a lock ring, rather it contains the outer bearing race the gasket is actually a shim to adjust preload, don't muck with this, you can leave it as is. The axle is restrained with a circlip at the end of the splines. To get it out I removed the boot and slid the cv out. I then used a slide hammer attached with hose clamps and a L bracket to pull it out, putting a rag over the end to prevent any damage.
  23. Check the group buy section
  24. ^^^ Should be good, I absolutely thrashed Dirt 2 so I can't wait for this
