Nah you know what.
1) I had been using the same set of Pagids since July doing two, sometimes three track days a month
2) I changed the front pads right before THC, they are were at about 30% so keeping them as spares, rotors didn't need machining
3) Pretty sure that same set did TT 2011 to a 2nd EM - previous owner could confirm, he had them on there for a reason, Blaise (1st EM) is also recommending the Pagids a few posts above - go figure
4) I have only used DS2500's on a street car, so yes you are right I don't have much experience with them, in their limited use pad wear was considerable, going from other people I have spoken it varies, some find they wear fast, others don't, and the 3000's are hard on rotors and probably not best suited to TR
5) My crash was in no way brake related, it was driver error - rubbing salt into someones wound - class act mate look forward to racing with you
The pads are only one part of the equation for longevity, but they seem to play the part well from my experience.
Is that enough Poole? Pleasure to meet you. Not sure why you feel the need to belittle someone you don't even know? How about you try adding something to the discussion - maybe you will teach me something with all your infinite wisdom. Good day.
