  1. I use mainly rhdjapan and have used perfectrun.jp for a few things. Can't fault either of them. Nengun I have not used for a long long time as they used to take ages to send your order (3 months with one order), where rhdjapan is usually here in a week. I believe the business has changed hands since so things are most likely different these days. Jesse Streeter I have also used and he was great, excellent prices.
  2. It's definitely a scam. I responded to an R33 GTR ad on carsales yesterday for $9k supposedly just down the road from me - I figured it was a scam but enquired anyway using my crappy email address and a fake mobile number. Got a standard scam email back today from the "seller" saying it was on eBay, and they are selling using eBay's buyer protection program and a link to some shonky scam website that was made to look like eBay. They also wanted all my personal details. They are all over us at the moment because there are so many people in this country easily fooled.
  3. That would be great if you have them handy thanks Richard. I can't seem to find details on the HKS ones online that merge to 90mm - nobody lists the specs. Obviously with the Midori dumps at 76.3mm / 3" I am trying to get them to match without reducing.
  4. Yeah was starting to think along these lines. I was already going to get them to do the rest of the exhaust - have a chat to Chris tomorrow.
  5. What do you guys think of the Midori front pipes? I'm getting the Midori dumps which these match up to, then through to 90mm, but no flex join which I am a little worried about. There doesn't seem to be anything else on the market to the same specs.
  6. Yesh very interested to see how this ABS goes - would love to replace my old clunker with something more effective.
  7. Yeh I did figure it was partly because he has proved rather competitive. I very highly doubt I will get the same sort of attention lol!
  8. Yep thats the one! Yeah speaking with Mick today this is where the alarm bells have come from.
  9. Guys whats the current ruling on rolling guards. Reg's seem to suggest it's not legal. I have some 18x9.5 +22 te37's going on mine so should fit ok, but before it gets painted I wanted to make as much space in there as possible. I'm not looking to increase track at all for Targa events, only maybe in future for track days.
  10. Yes I believe so - both versions are designed to match up to the midori dumps.
  11. Wow nice setup. No need for intercooling?
  12. Do you know if the HA's are monotube or twin tube design? Twin tube will taper at the bottom of the shock body where monotube wont - mono is what you want. The SS are an older twin tube design. Might be worth giving Fulcrum in QLD a quick shout and see if it is worth having your HA's revalved with some softer springs. How much are you willing to spend?
  13. Fulcrum suspension are the only approved distributor for Tein in Australia. They did all the development of the aus spec versions of the super streets. What type of Tein's are on there at the moment? If they are circuit master RA/RS/RE then you can get them set up for local street conditions.
  14. Not sure about everyone else but "new reply" email notifications for threads are not working for me. I got a few back around the 22nd and 23rd of Dec but none since. I have tried unwatching and watching certain topics again but no luck. New replies added but no notifications.
  15. Yeah its quite easy to up them to 14-15psi. From factory there is a brass restrictor inside one of the hoses to the standard boost control solenoid. It is designated by a yellow or white stripe on the hose. Removing this will allow boost to get up above 14psi - the last owner may have done this. Standard R34 ceramic's should have a compressor cover with 0.53 a/r stamped on it. N1's will be 0.6 or 0.42.
  16. Yeah sorry I am trying to pick paint at the moment - the R34's came in a few different silvers (see here). Kinda looks like sparkling silver to me - it would have the paint code in the engine bay on the plate with the vin / engine no etc. I personally wouldn't push the ceramic turbos over 12psi but thats me. Many have ran them at around 14psi reliably but then again others have not - and when they shatter they can take the engine with them. I would prefer to spend $3k up front on some steel wheel turbos for insurance, rather than $15k on an engine + turbos after disaster. I am not sure how the R34's are tuned from factory, but the difference going to power FC on my R32 was unbelievable. It netted probably an extra 20rwkw just from trimming the fuel. The stock R32 ECU had the AFR's at around 10:1 - very rich. After the change fuel consumption around town also dropped dramatically - like from 250km per tank to 350-450km. At a guess stock standard + well tuned power fc, and boost at 12psi I would think peak around 200rwkw. Add some steel turbos @ 16/17psi, maybe a nismo fuel pump for insurance and a decent exhaust and you will start getting up to the 300rwkw mark.
  17. What paint code is it Aaron? The Vspec 2's still have the ceramic turbos yeah? I think stock boost would be around the 10psi mark. As for power standard - they were sold under the 206kw gentlemans agreement but at the engine could be around the 230kw mark. Unleash the boost and the story changes very quickly
  18. Just catching up on this thread was going to mention those 190E 2.5-16 Evo2 - one of my dream cars. Not sure what its like in real life but man is it fun around the ring in GT4.
  19. If it was the same parking zone you can still get booked. I think the numbers are on the signs maybe. Their technology is getting too good these days they can keep track of your number plate.
  20. I had this happen on one race - reset the ps3 and it went in ok the next time.
  21. I think it was 100,000kms from the factory dean
  22. Surprise surprise count me in on the next group buy too!!
  23. lol I can just see the cops spitting their coffee everywhere seeing you sitting at the lights!!
  24. Call Nissan with your VIN or GCG - they will be able to supply them and will know the sizes. Make sure you get inconel ones and not just high tensile for the turbo hot side - high tensile tend to stretch from heat + gravity.
