  3. That is one chunky strut brace! Almost looks like it would need some extra bracing / bolting to the strut towers to take full advantage of said chunkyness. How do you feel about drilling holes in your strut towers matt?
  4. I have up for sale the following, see pics below. 4 x R32 GTR 16" wheels Include set of Hankook Ventus K104's fronts ~60% tread, rears ~20% tread, little bit of gutter rash nothing serious. Price $650 set Whiteline adjustable strut brace for R32 GTR (think it fits GTS as well - see whiteline site) As new condition, only fitted about 2,000kms ago by trutrack. Reason for changing - I wanted a BCS for the track so bought a Cusco one integrated with strut brace Price $150 Pickup for the wheels in Melbourne south west, strut brace I can post at buyers expense - we can work out postage depending where you are.
  5. Too late! -10 it is. Yeah crazy how much those speed flow fittings are - will remember the Russels in future.
  6. Cheers guys - yes was thinking -12 was going to be too big for my purposes. Getting them to change to -10 Car is being set up mainly for tarmac rally and some track days, but is still currently registered so thermostat one will suit both. UAS have everything I need so just passing the headache off to them!
  7. I am getting my hands on one of the PWR cross flow radiators with a built in oil cooler. PWR have given me the option of -10 or -12 fittings on the oil cooler. I went with -12, but can get this changed for -10 before they build it. I am trying to get my hands on an oil filter sandwhich block, with built in thermostat, that I can run the lines to. I am looking at this GReddy oil block but it has a heap of options on fittings http://www.rhdjapan.com/trust-0-c-oil-bloc...60mm-51270#tab3 Can someone in the know please give me some guidance on which oil block variant I need? Car is an R32 GTR
  8. Haha that shamwow remix is pure awesome
  9. Be sure to use a little rubber grease on the o-rings will help avoid them getting damaged during fitment
  10. Its like christmas... all year at PWR. Can't wait until they decide to give me a crossflow rad with integrated oil cooler... now that would be a good pressie.
  11. I agree with this - I have not driven an R35 so not really a qualified comment but from all reports it doesn't have that edge that the more expensive super/hyper/whatevercars have. I like the idea of cars that bite, and must be treated with respect and driven with a combination of ability and what the engineers have made available to you. At the end of the day a faster lap time through the use of technology is just bragging rights, where as extracting what you can, with your abilities, out of what's available to you, on your own just you and the car is where the true enthusiast likes to be, irrespective of the resultant lap time.
  12. I heard he did such a big skid that it caught fire and he was sent travelling through time... I have no doubt this has been the case! We are talking about PWR here.
  13. I knew there would be a good explanation... hopefully its not too painful to sit down and use his computer
  14. Is he on holiday or something? A number of us have been trying to get in touch with him regarding a group buy but having no luck getting a response. I know a few of you in here know him personally so sorry for posting in this section but needless to say a few of us are starting to get a little worried having paid deposits etc
  15. Same here - twice...
  16. Cheers - hard market out there I tell ya - million and one low ballers looking for bargains from desparate people
  17. Ok so the "Special Answer" means the cheque cant be cancelled without it? .... might need the cone of silence
  18. Sweet - yeah have been on the phone to NRMA and they guarantee that the cheque is good and can't be cancelled. They found him and have put a note on his account that I am going to call up and verify the cheque number. Also had to help him jump through a few hoops with valuations etc being an import / not in redbook so all looking legit. Have all his details / work info and will get copies of his drivers license etc. Not selling for the asking price either he needed to beat me down, he is from ACT so no RCW or rego so making a bit back that way. Not used to banks being open on weekends but there it is - open on a saturday.. what is the world coming to. Thanks for your help guys.
