i dont know too much theory, i just try what i think would make sence..and it works...its funny, even friends are paying me to take them for a few corners...lol.......very bored friends? or am i a good driver? haha
-
ah, what your saying makes sence, and i try to do the one i was talking about, but sometimes i do feel the push in my suspension that puts the car off slightly for a drift....maybe to achive both of these, there is a similar in car tech?
-
"You cannot drift in a skyline, it produces too much torque and is virtually impossible to handle if you throw it into a drift, so unless you want to spin out and die, use the grip driving technique. " ok, iv been here, thinking...somthing funny i could say about that....and i really cant think of anything, its already that stupid, anything else ontop of it would be a waste of time. who ever made that site, has obviously never been in a skyline.,...or maybe he is true and i really spin out everytime i drift and i just dont know it? hahahaahahaha.....awsome site. lets go learn from there.....NOT!..once again... HA HA HA.

GT3 Drift Settings HERE!

Altezza = RWD FX7FC.. do you mean RX-7 FC? yes. 3. can we use a stage 4 turbo instead of a stage 3.. like on the S15, dont do that, way too much lag, and you need to lower the gear ratios, and with lotsa lag, compensated with gear ratios...it frys the tires WAY to easly, and its not as fun or realistic or easy. 4. are FD RX-7's any good?....yes. -

you can get gtst's trust me. -
i thought inertia drift was where, whilst cornereing, the inertia/weight of the rear end of the car forces the rear end slightly to the side, therefor breaking traction allowing you to plant it to keep it sideways, with the rally style counter sway into sharper corners, is to get the car to be almost straight after the corner with minimal extra sway, the drift version of this is to plant the crap out of it when you do it, and hold the anti lock and feel the car around the corner....i think???? this is how it feels for me...but im not a pro....iv never been on track, only street......so shhhh..

drift_me_silly: find somone who can drift those cars as good as the real drift cars, and you will be a champion.

Due to popular demand, i have posted my personal drift settings for the game gran torismo 3. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This Setup works better on the following cars: S13/S14/S15/180sx/R32GTST/ALTEZZA/FX7FC/TURENO For other cars with different weight displacement, modifications need to be made to these settings. Car Modifications: - Full Racing Suspension - Sports Brakes & Balance Controller - Stage 3 Turbo - Racing Intercooler - Racing Muffler - Sports Chip - Port and Polish - Full Engine Balance - Full Racing Transmission - Triple Clutch - Racing Flywheel - Carbon Driveshaft - LSD Full Customize - Weight Reduction Stage 3 Basically you need the best stage of all these modifications "IMPORTANT" Tires play a big part in this, you NEED simulations on the back and the best racing tires on the front. Dont forget to set - ASM and TCS set to zero. That is, anti sway, and traction controol. Settings: SR - minimum /minimum RH - minimum/minimum Bound - 6 / 7 Rebound - 6 / 7 Camber - 6.0 / 1.0 Toe - -1.5 / 0.5 Stabs - 2 / 4 Brakes - Rear:9 / Front: 24 LSD: Initial = 20, Accel = 50, Decel = 20 With the Gear ratios, on stage 3 turbo, try and drop it down by about 3to 4. say your on 30, get it down to 27ish.

Hey guys, i know this is odd to see, especially on these forums, but i have a car that is to expencive for me to do up and i just dont make enough money, so im willing to give away my PRIDE and JOY to somone who can afford mods for a more expencive car, im willing to get a cheaper silvia or 180 that i can do up with the money left over from the trade so i can drift, as i dont want to wreck a car that i dont even have enough money to insure. So here are the specs - This car landed and was complied in Australia November 2002 and was not driven until December 2002 December 1992 R32 Skyline Gts-t Type M 117,000 kms Black 5 speed GTR front spoiler and bonnet HKS boost controller - unplugged, auto elec can plug APEXi controller - unplugged, auto elec can plug 3 x GTR-style aftermarket gauges in centre console Heavy Duty Button Clutch Quick Shift Gearbox. Aftermarket exhaust Cusco strut tower bar Malpassi rising rate fuel reg Aftermarket fuel pump Condition notes: Professionally accident repaired in the front. Overall condition is excellent with no obvious blemishes. I also have a T4/T3 Hybrid turbo that needs about an $600-$900 rebuild, rated at around 550HP that i can give with this car as that would be a little to big for the application i want, new i think these are worth $2500, but dont quote me on that one. Anyone with a stock non turbo manual/auto silvia or 180 around 1990~1993 models wanting an R32 gtst with a few small mods and has an extra $7,000 ~ $10,000 to throw in, this is your chance. i dont even mind front end damage as i wanna put an s15 front cut on it, if you have a better deal for me, tell me.... anyway, here are some pics, and if they dont work, email me and i will send them.....BTW im in brisbane. http://www1.budgethostingweb.com/accounts/...ey/skyline.html my email address: [email protected]

I can drift in gt3 like you wouldnt believe, if anyone is serious, send me an email and i will give you setup info for most the nissans, well all the good drift cars....i just wish i could video tape my gt3 drifting to post, you wouldnt belive the shit that can be done in that game, constant drift on almost everytrack, soo smooth, so sideways, so controlled.....as stupid as it may sound, mastering drifting on GT3 as helped me drift in real life, there are alot of basic drift tech in the game you can use in real life.
-
Would you concider selling/swapping for a black r32 gtst and given me some $$$? i would like a cheap silvia to do up. email me for pics [email protected]

i think maybe alot of things contribute. they would collect dust in the aircon pipes during shipping, and japan is full of smoggy atmospheres, my car came from the mountains so id say it could have been dusty up there, except, my car came with snow tires!....
-
Haha, how recently have you all bought your cars? i noticed when i got my from japan, when i turned the aircon on big plooms of dust came from the vents, it felt like there was a helicopter landing infront of me in a desert blowing sand at me... but yeh, i use aircon very often, and i believe it contributes alot to the settled dust overnight
