if you're not going to boost it at all then i think you'll probably just notice more lag with a bigger fmic. However if you boost it up to 10psi or so the intercooler is a good idea.

yeah but if it works out that its not worthwhile insuring doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to get the car, OR post up if its been stolen!! He's the one gonna lose out in the end if it gets stolen or written off so i don't know why people are giving him so much shit for not insuring it. I didn't insure mine cause it worked out that if i don't have it stolen or write it off within 3 years i'll pay off the car with what i save!! Its a risk you chose to take, and if mine gets pinched you can be assured i'll be posting asking for people to look out for it, but not for sympathy that i chose not to comprehensively insure!

Wd-40 and depending on where the bolt is, if you give it one or 2 solid whacks with a hammer or something it generally free's it up. (note don't use this if its somewhere that you will damage by applying too much shock too, ie weak pipe etc)

yeah around -7 or so. I once busted a vacuum hose to my boost sensor and it started idling with boost guage showing about -4 or so. Maybe check all the hoses for cracks etc

lol u haven't accidentally knocked any hoses off or anything when u were messing around with the solenoid have u?? Check and make sure everythings tight and theres no breaks in the tubing anywhere. Should be halfway between 0 & 7 mmHg (7mmHg is 14psi so half way is 7psi)

lol any auto place will sell em man. Actually even woolworths sell em i think!! Every car owner should have one (although granted most times i'm too lazy to use it)

ummm maybe try initialising the unit again and setting it up from scratch?? Not sure what it could be if it ran ok before hand
