  2. Nice capture there CPD. Jay - Love the 1st and the last one. The simplicity and vibrancy is awesome. Richie - Cheers man. Those are just randoms I have posted. Hopefully get the blog updated soon. Ah nice shots of the skylines there. I see you been trying that toy look type effect. eg) 6231 and others. Nicely done.
  3. Some randoms from recent shoots: So the girls wouldn't let the groom into the gurdwara unless he payed up. So after a few minutes of haggling a price (which the girls declined) he decided to get his credit card out. Priceless moment!! Experimental shot using some strobes at the getting ready shots. Trying a square crop: Had a huge success from my first photobooth session Cant wait to do another one. Even a 3m wide roll wasnt wide enough for big group shots. Will post up more soon. But the shot below is just showing my setup. One of my corals:
  4. AWesome stuff Jay Love your thinking!! Cant wait to see more from the light painting.
  5. Hectic stuff jay Beautiful moment: Awesome house:
  6. Did you visit lisbon? Another amazing city. So many lovely people and even the chicks talk to you in the clubs (un like here). I went back in 2008 backpacking for 2 months. been itching to go back since!!
  7. 100% visit spain matt. You will love it specially barcelona. One big crazy city!!! Oh and be sure to visit montpellier which is near the border but in france. So many beautiful women. I walked out of the train station and my jaw just dropped. Never seen so many beautiful ladies in one spot lol.
  8. THOUGHTS????????????????????? That pic is incredible. I love it. I would hang that up on my wall anyday. Nice pano richie
  9. Lovely pano jay. A mandup is a covered structure with pillars where a wedding ceremony will take place. There are many different styles/sizes etc out there. If you have money you can make some crazy ones which look like as if you were there back in the days of kings and queens. Basically its mostly seen at indian weddings. Nice shots josh - I love pic number 32. Richie - ah thats pretty cool. Almost the tilt shift look but not.
  10. Good to see you have an account on MM martin
  11. Keep the GTR matt. You wil regret selling it!!! Matt E - Awesome shots there. Wheres the location? Would love to do a model shoot there. Speaking of model shoots. Gear: 5dm2 with a Carl Zeiss 85mm full manual focus prime lens. Lighting: One strobe bare bulb Two more can be found here: http://sidd-rishi.com.au/blog/1/three-shots-of-tara/

  13. New month Oct was damn impressive. Cant wait to see what everyone gets up to this month. Guess I will start.. Beautifully decorated mandup: Handheld three flashes lol. I should really invest in a tripod one day.
  14. Sweet look forward to seing more photos jay. Time to start a Nov thread.
  15. Can I join you on the shoot? I live quite close to cronulla/kurnell area. You can shoot my daily cube
  16. Jay - Thats awesome dude. Now take the next step further and get a hot ballon with gps system and send it off to the outer atomsphere. I remember a guy on the potn forums doing it. Looked incredible. Offcourse a bit of planning and spending a little bit on gear. But awesome idea. How did you trigger the gopro? Or is there a setting to take a pic at a set interval? There was a jdmst eomm yesterday? damn.. didnt even see it. That bmw looks nice
  17. Thanks Jay. Man if you live in sydney I would hire you as my assistant!!
  18. Thanks man. More of these series to come Wanna do some in the city. Hopefully next week.
  19. ^ DUDE loving that.. Awesome pano. Would have been even better if it was taken at sunset with some nice clouds. Eitherway its great Keep taking more for me!!! Richie - Cheers for the help. Will have another crack at it soon and post it up. Another collection to my big bold beautiful eyes:
  20. That looks so much better. How did you remove the stretch marks? I want to learn without using any filters/actions etc that you can purchase. Did you just use slight blur on the shoulder blades? To be honest I havnt touched the shoulders at all. I just did the face. But I will attempt it again tonight. Thanks for offering your help man
  21. ^ I like the first one for some reason. Eitherway nicely done. Just practicing cleaning skin and trying not to make it look fake or using any filters etc. Basically healing tool, little bit of dodge and burn. Haven't gone overboard with it. Kept it as natural as possible. I don't do this often so im no pro.. but just practicing here. Before: After: hmmm now that im looking at it again found a few noticeable mistakes
  22. Nah not instant (as in printing it on the spot). Just a fun photobooth with some crazy props. Let the guests be a bit silly.
  23. My 1st wedding photobooth all setup
  24. What type of lizard is that? Nice capture of it. Richie - Nice soft light in the 2nd one. Little angled but all good. Nice image F18, ISO 800, 1/160th. Should have had it at iso100 but you learn from your mistakes. Could have got a bit more sky into it. Einstein+BD at near full power.
  25. Nice lighting stand.. Love it. Matt - excellent shot there. pretty much straight out of the camera. No editing to skin/face.. or any blurry bits added in.. just resized and sharped and increased the orange a bit. That's it.. More of these series to come Time to go into the city at night and experiment more.
