[Sa] Toyota Jzx100 Chaser - Santas Jzxmas Plow/sled?
siddr20 replied to KbaTz's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Love the look of this chaser. Goodluck with the sale -
Well in regards to that photo im sure it was around f11-f14, maybe even f18 exposing for the background and keeping some details in the clouds. Sometimes you dont have the time or space to take lighting with you so you have to use natural light.. and well I guess in this case the background was overexposed as I was trying to get the exposure correct on the girls. Also generally i would use zoom lens to do group shots, but I was on a small wharf thingy and if I took a step back I would be in the water so had to use my wide lens. Nothing you can really do sometimes. This was probably f4, iso 1600. Metered for the brides face, got a reading.. then exposed for the brides flower.. and then shot away knowning what it should be around. But then the white flowers got overexposed but I think its fine. In regards to the business card - yea my last one was matt but no spot uv. Still got some left but I will let you know. But why would you turn down print jobs? Maybe increase your prices to make it worthwhile?
-
Nice I like those pics above. You know what russian wedding fight video thingy is fake.
-
Great stiching job jay. Just looked at the bigger version. Look forward to seeing more from you. Richie - Which pic? The one on the blog for that wedding? The first pic of the couple was probably around f11-f16, 1/160th, iso 400. Cant remember now but will have to check exif. For the reception shots with the 135L, then it would be f2.8-f4. Hope this helps in some way? But dont follow my settings, there are other factors involved as well like ISO, shutter speed, flash settings. But if you have specfic questions in regards to lighting etc then let me know. Just checked out your website and noticed you do business card printing.. hmmm could be interested
-
Who said the 135L was too long? Well its a fixed prime lens so if you want to take a wide of something or fit a big group of people then it will be hard. You can take several steps back, but I normally use that lens for portraits or candid shots when I dont want to be in peoples faces. If I were you, I would purchase the 70-200f4L lens. Super sharp and you will probably love the zoom factor. Also its not that expensive either. Go for that lens first before the 135L. Cheers Richie. Matt - fark you posing like a model bro!!! Time to create a page on MM hahahah Latest blog post: 60% of shots taken with the 135L http://sidd-rishi.com.au/blog/2/trinette-matts-wedding-2011/

^ Yup what kory said. Having a better glass will improve your image quality, but you still need to get all the settings correct on the camera. Another photographer I know has one so will be borrowing his. Not sure if you can hire one easily here from a camera/lens hiring place. Actually maybe sunstudios but no doubt it will be couple of k each day. The camera is worth like 15-20k upwards depending on which model.

Another collection to my big bold beautiful eyes.

I used a canon 5dm2 and all the pics except the wide shot of the house was taken with a 135L. The shot of the house was with a 24-70L. Hope this helps. Matt - nice shots of the landscape. I like the one with the ducks in the water.
-
Why would you need 54megapixels but? Having more megapixels shouldnt get you all excited unless your printing on big billboards or actually doing proper commerical shoots. But then you should be using a mediuim format camera anyways. You know hasselblad have been making 60plus megapixels for a long time. But totally different camera I know. Just saying. Having more megapixels aint gonna make your pic look better. Saying that I have used the h4d 50 and 40 and WOW. Lets just say my 16gb card filled up in no time. Will be using it again this weekend. Cant wait. Hopefully canon brings out the 5d3 which is probably more affordable. Guess I got now till march to save up for the 1dx. Even still would love to see some proper reviews on it specially the focusing system. Looks very interesting.

^ nicely done man btw for this shot of the ute you posted up: http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6171/6233733585_bc3e85ee74_b.jpg Wouldnt it be better to have all the cars in focus? I feel not every shot has to be a panning shot. But thats just my 2cents.

Also bring right arm up towards his cheek and her left arm around the waist. That way your not cutting the arms off.
-
^ nice light in the 3rd pic of the couple. Just wish the guy was looking at the camera or down at her. Eitherway good pic.
-
Matt - hahahahaha I know, but im too scared to approach and say that. Dont want to look like a perv or anything lol. Jay - Excellent pano man.. Love it!!!! Now frame that asap and hang it on a wall. Looks incredible

Incredible view from the wedding ceremony Hardest day to shoot with it raining in the morning then full bright sun, then overcast, then bright sun again.. everyone sweating and squinting. But what an awesome day it ended up being!! Dont you love it with a guest walks in front to take a picture. Still love the pic though. Everyone outside. Felt sorry for the couple standing in the hot sun. Hardest thing to exposure and get the lighting correct. OK I have a confession to make. I love big bold beautiful eyes. I should make a post one day of all my collection. No editing to the eyes or skin at all for the next three pics. They really do have big bold beautiful eyes!!!!! Yup no editing done to the eyes at all. Another person that walked into my shot But just love her eyes!!!

Cheers Have had it for 2.5 years now. Everything is thriving and going well

Just did a small water change and haven't cleaned the glass so ignore the crappy pics. Maybe I should have done that before the water change.. oh wells.. Some quick photos. Nothing special just point and shoot. Hopefully one day I can afford a macro lens.. sigh My finger leather coral My beautiful flame angel Yes its dori!!! My fav fish. So peaceful and majestic. Love it!!! Meet my mighty clam!!! So majestic. So beautiful My elegance having a winge at me coz there isnt enough space for it to expand properly. So 4*3*2 tank coming soon!! Its actually shrunk a fair bit in this pic as I accidentally touched it when moving my glass cleaner. Oh a smaller elegance on the far left (it actually split from the main one)... how cool is that My green zoo rock. I have a feeling I got some sort of crab living in there. I can see these round googly looking eyes that pop out every now and then. Its not my pepermint shrimp. I can never see the rest of its body. But looks like a shrimp or a crab. Atleast its not eating my fish. My hammer corals chilling in the background sun baking Oh and my frag has grown so much in the last couple of months. Check my previous posts to compare.

Thought about using cpl filters to cut down the reflections? I dont shoot automotive so hard to give proper feedback man. But feel the reflections could bt cut down some what. Otherwise nice clear images. Lighting looks good as well.
