  1. Does the G12 record in HD? Would love to get a compact camera for my holiday end of year.
  2. butt shot hahaha.. Where was it taken matt? Nice set of pics. nah didnt borrow his.. my 2nd shooter accidentally left it in my car after a shoot. So decided to take as many pics with it as possible before I gave it back to him. Found my old 2gb memory cards.. Forgot I still had pics on there.
  3. Good use of natural light. Lighting is nice and even. You missed focus on the eyes on the first pic (no biggie but).
  4. Thanks for the kind words Richie. Hopefully get a blog post up soon with all the photos from the wedding. Nick - The photo was taken from a tilt-shift lens (45mm canon tilt shift). Purpose of the photo - none really hahah. Well just testing out the tiltshift lens as I have never used it before.
  5. Yup on the 5dm2. Matt - how can you not remember him taking that pic. Your smiling at the camera!!!!
  6. I like the last pic as well jay.. Love your perspective of the pics you capture. ISO6400, No noise reduction.
  7. Thanks jay!!! DO IT.. Do it now lol.. Keen to see house. Would be awesome if you could do some light painting with it or perhaps get star trails in the background.
  8. Hot little moment!!! hehehhe

  10. ^ agree awesome shot there mate. Beautifully decorated mandup!!
  11. Did you watch the video I posted? I took it overseas in India when I was photographing a wedding. AH nice rolling shot.. eitherway its awesome.
  12. ^ Nice I like that.. Rig shot? So I was at a wedding overseas and out of know where the grooms best friend pulls out a gun. Apparently its tradition to fire a shot at a wedding. I think it was a shotgun of some kind. This is me videoing him taking a shot. He let me take a shot afterwards!! I have held a gun before, but never fired one. Was an incredible experience feeling the force of the gun when its fired.
  13. Top stuff
  14. If you bored watch this:
  15. Little silly comparing a full frame camera against a crop one. Also one that came out more than 2 years ago. But yes for starting out and owning some efs lenses already, then the 7d will be the way to go. Also I have had my 5d2 soaked in the rain from a modelshoot and it was totally fine. Was out in the rain for more than an hour. But worth it
  16. I will see if I can dig some up for you. But just remember im alwys shooting in low lit areas so the whole night im between iso1600-2500. I could notice big difference between noise on the 7d and the 5dm2. Hense why I sold the 7d (backup camera), and bought another 5d2. Another reason was that I didnt like the feel of the 7d in my hands (felt weird). Also I wanted two full frame cameras as it makes it easier to manage and quickly change settings etc. Dont get me wrong the 7d is an excellent camera and I love its focus system (something the 5d2 lacks).
  17. I use two 5dm2s. I shoot weddings so having a backup camera is a must. Also I like both cameras to be the same.
  18. I hated the noise on the 7d and sold it soon after. Love her eyes!! cant get over how long her eye lashes are.
