My Stagea has a random TPS error that triggers limp mode and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction with regards to troubleshooting the problem. This is my first fly by wire car, so TPS issues like this I am foreign to. From what I understand the M35 Service Manual isn't available in English but the V35/G35 manual is a good reference for this sort of problem.

M35 Stagea Series 1 Questions

Ok thanks for your help guys. What is exactly involved in changing to say a 350Z or G35X LSD? The turbo at 100k as part of Nissan recommended replacement? Assuming that the exhaust wheel is ceramic like most Nissans, it would seem an ARX models running around the 1bar boost would be more akin to going pop sooner. -
I am looking at joining the M35 family fairly soon, but I am having trouble find afew key details that will help me buy the right one. My main questions is, without jacking up every car I look at or laying black lines on the pavement, how do I tell it has the LSD option? So far I know that: 250T RS Four had the option of LSD 250T RX Four didn't have the option of LSD AR-X comes with LSD Nissan Fast doesn't actually tell you if the car is fitted with the LSD option. Can I tell by the diff housing? (If so, photos would be great ) I've read that the service manual states that the Turbo is a recommended replacement at 100k Service, is this true? What boost do each model run standard? I know that the AR-X runs more boost then other models, but I am not sure exactly how much. Cheers

What is the ground clearance like? My car sits pretty low at the moment and I might be looking for something to help negotiate speed bumps abit better -
Haha, maybe I'll need to double check that when I get home lol, its been a good year since I did the test

I've tried this and the fuse still blows 10Amp is the standard fuse, it's been awhile since ive tried, but I think the only fuse it wasn't blowing was the 20Amp and thats why I wasn't too keen to keep running it with the 20Amp fuse in there.

Looking to get my A/C running again in my R32 GTR but are having some issues and was hoping if people could point me in the right direction I think my Compressor is on its way out as currently with the 10Amp fuse, the compressor won't engage when I turn on the A/C and the 10Amp fuse blows instantly. However if I run a larger fuse, say 15Amp or 20Amp, the compressor will run and the fuse doesn't blow, however I am not too keen on using this solution as I feel its sorta asking for trouble. Do people generally just look to replacing their compressors in R32 GTRs or get them overhauled? is my problem common, if so how have people gone about resolving?

It's that time of year for me to renew my insurance and to my surprise, a $1000 increase for the same cover, insured amount and no claims (1994 BNR32 GTR, Male, 27 Years Old - $1600 Full Comp last year to $2600 this year). This seemed very odd to me so I called them to ask if it is correct.. Spoke to a representative and was told that this new increase in Victoria was due to the cost of running a business has gone up because of Hail Damage claims... I am dumbfounded that a single individual would be slung an extra $1000 per year (62.5% Increase).... Have other Victorias experienced the same sorta increase?

+1 Keen to see results

I have checked the wiring to the solenoid, that is all in perfect working order. I brought this second hand whilst I was in the states, so its history I don't know and it has never worked for me. The VR3 position looks like it has had a Voltage Regulator there before, the underside of the PCB looks like it is still part of the rest of the circuit, it is just missing the Voltage Regulator.

I am having issues with my Greddy Profec B Spec II, the EBC unit powers up, solenoid works, however, the EBC unit doesn't adjust voltage to the solenoid to govern its correct operation. Currently, the EBC unit supplies the solenoid with 12V, but once the desired boost level is reached, there is no change to the 12V to the solenoid to tell it to close. Upon opening the EBC unit, I found that I am missing the Voltage Regulator (VR3, in the location circled below). My EBC Unit with the missing VR3: Another EBC Unit with the VR3: Does anyone know the specs of the missing Voltage Regulator? And, does anyone else have anymore insight into how the EBC Unit operates electronically to fix my issue?
