  1. Ah thanks Terry, I'll try find the group
  2. Noone?
  3. You wont get much better than this. Especially for the price, low km and count spent on it http://carsales.mobi/cars/details/1993-Nissan-Skyline-GT-R-R32/SSE-AD-151413
  4. Looking at buying a set of R34 gtr wheels in good condition for the right price of course. Tyres not important. Thanks
  5. It may be worth sending the guy who's currently selling the very low km 32 nismo edition in for sale section a message incase he still has it at the time if this goes ahead or can at least get the new owner onboard? Would be good to see this happen. Any way of tracking down one of the actual Bathurst raced cars from that era and maybe even a driver of one of them? Or are both the cars and drivers now museum pieces? Lol. Surely one of the people involved with them in the super car championship would be keen to take part given the success and controversy?
  6. Not sure how old this is but stumbled across it on import monster site https://www.importmonster.com.au/view?url=http://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/185375462&thumb=http://auctions.c.yimg.jp/images.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/image/ra222/users/7/4/3/6/bnr3227-thumb-141559336431619.jpg&title=BCNR33GT%20R%20LM%20500PS
  7. As title states, just wondering if anyone knows whether its the R32 GTR nismo edition that these turbo's came on? I have searched but not much definitive information on them. I've read some say they came with standard gtr turbos, some saying N1 turbo's and some saying these larger, steel internal RR581 units. If not, does anyone know what these turbo's originally came on. I know they bolt straight up to the RB26 so unless they were simply an aftermarket or nismo factory option they must have been factory fitted units on something? They dont seem very common which may indicate they were Nismo editon items being only 560 made. Any help would be great Thanks
  8. Hi guys. As topic states, Im looking for the stock rb25 turbo actuator (7 p.s.i spring) or a cheap blown turbo with good working actuator. Preferable just the actuator though as it would be a lot cheaper to post. Thanks.
  9. After another one already Marin?
  10. Nice work Bob. Good shots of our 'boring' cars lol
  11. Great day. Nice to meet some of you. Sorry to hear about the traffic and weather for some on the way back down south. Good turnout and hats off to the royal hotel for getting the meals out in good time considering the number of orders they had. Look forward to seeing some pics and to the next event.
  12. Gorgeous morning up here
  13. Come on Terry, go the distance. Surely its admins duty? :-p Or at least to the halfway house? would be nice to meet you and there will be a few from up this way. And look, blue skies and sunshine
  14. Doesn't look that bad a forecast up this way :-/
  15. Just a suggestion for those running e85 who are concerned about fuel consumption... Rather than being turned off coming or not wanting to carry spare fuel, maybe come up the putty road with a full tank but head back via Cessnock to the F3?
  16. Hey guys, for anyone coming on the Putty Road cruise on Sunday, here's a link to the page i have posted meetup details in Singleton on http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/450537-sau-nsw-official-end-of-year-putty-road-cruise/page-7?p=7435438
  17. Ok, so anyone from Newcastle/Central Coast/Hunter Valley that would like to meet up with myself and Global_warmer in Singleton before heading down the Putty Road, here's the plan... Meetup 9-9:30 at Sundial on Ryan Avenue, Singleton Leave around 9:45/10 (allowing 1.5 hours to Putty meetup) I have attached a "dodgy looking' map lol. If you have gps, type in Ryan Avenue, Singleton 2330, otherwise i've highlighted directions from coming into town. Very easy to find. McDonalds is on the New England highway (changes name to Maitland Rd when coming into town) so you will run into it. There are two sets of traffic lights at the intersections outside Mcdonalds/Hungry Jacks/pizza hut etc, take a left at the second set of lights (york st) an follow it till the end, left again and then next right opposite the united servo and you'll see a giant sundial at the end of the street. We'll be waiting at the sundial :-)
  18. There's no E85 in Singleton itself but i imagine there would be somewhere close to the south end of the putty people could fill up at? Im not sure of the distance to singleton and back and how far a full tank gets you but maybe it would be enough up and back?
  19. You can add global_warmer to the list too. He's having trouble accessing the forum from his phone but will be there.
  20. Was thinking anyone from Newcastle/Central coast/Hunter Valley etc could meet in Singleton and head down together to meet the others at the halfway house?
  21. No probs. Sent a few pm's to those who have made recent posts on local threads (newcastle/central coast) so fingers crossed theres a bit of local interest
  22. Hey guys. I've inboxed a fe of you regarding an upcoming cruise/lunch. For those who i havent and may be interested, it would be good to get a few local HUnter Valley/Newcastle/Central coast numbers together. Here is the link to the cruise: http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/450537-sau-nsw-official-end-of-year-putty-road-cruise/
