  1. Ah I see. Thanks for the clarification. May have to get to part A and B then.
  2. The drive up to Gosford to Trackside isn't run or organised through Sau? Isnt that what this 'part B' of the day is about? I'm in the Hunter Valley so was gonna maybe just head to Trackside rather than all the way to Sydney but may do both yet if I can get up early enough lol. And yeah I assume there will be an R33 and R34 anniversary in the future but 25 years is somewhat special and a few years away yet for the 33's and 34's lol.
  3. Might come for a look in the new toy providing R33's are welcome lol. Would be rude for a skyline enthusiast not to come pay respect to the first of the rb26's. Is there something organised separately for cars other than 32's? Haven't noticed much.
  4. Interested in front pipe. Will it suit R33 gtr? Or is 34 different? I just checked and 73mm converts to 2.87 inches, is this common? Cause i thought most aftermarket pipes would be 3" outlet?
  5. Hi all. Chasing an upgrade aftermarket front pipe to suit R33 gtr. Preferably 3" outlet. NSW Sydney/Newcastle pick up preferred as i imagine it wouldn't be cheap to ship and awkward to pack. Pm if you have one. Pics would be good. Thanks
  6. Hey guys, i know its off topic but has anyone dealt with east coast jap parts who apparently operate out of Redhead? Do they have a store or anything i can actually go to? They advertise on ebay but i want to ask aboutpicking up an items im in use newy area but can't get hold of them and both phone numbers ring out. Can anyone help? Thanks
  7. I've owned 3 R33 gts-t's, an R34 GTR V-spec, a series 2 stagea autech 260rs and this thing is just wow. It looks like its just left the factory
  8. Looking for good condition bolt on 3" cat back exhaust for R33 gtr. Also good quality aftermarket front pipe to suit. Thanks
  9. Thanks mate but after the head unit particular
  10. I thought that might be the case. Were the head units different? Or the stacker setup still had a single cd option in the head unit? Or didn't have cd at all, just radio/cassette? Lol. Pics would be good
  11. Did they all run a stacker the boot? As I've owned 3 r33 gts-t's over the years and recall one had a stacker in the back left of the boot but the others didn't. Was it maybe a factory option?
  12. Thanks guys, exactly what i was thinking with the housing numbers etc. As for 'brand new', yeah im with you on the doubt on that judging the pics lol
  13. Yeah I've asked for a pic of the serial number. Just thought it was strange that he said they are brand new, cost $2500 and are rated at 450hp but i was also under the impression m-spec turbos were just factory ceramic units. Surely someone wouldn't pay that for factory spec 34 turbos over 2860-7's or -5 for that matter
  14. Thanks mate, cant see those numbers on the two pics he has posted and cant seem to post the direct ebay link to the item.
  15. Hi guys. Can anyone with some turbo knowledge maybe identify these turbos by comp housing numbers or exhaust wheel even as to whether they are factory R34 gtr units or -7 turbos? Seller claims to have paid $2500 from Japan and that they are rated at 450hp which leads me to believe they are -7 but unsure how to tell and whether they used a/r .53 comp housing? I thought -7/N1 used .60? :-/ http://pages.ebay.com/link/? nav=item.view&id=271522820306 Thanks
  16. Just wondering if anyone with past experience or has some tuning knowledge could give me their thoughts. Would there be much advantage/gain vs cost by fitting a power fc or getting ecu nistuned on an R33 gtr that's virtually stock apart from 3"front pipe back exhaust and raising the boost (stock turbos) If so, compared to completely stock setup, what sort of power increase/benefits would I be likely to see with... *removal of boost restrictor, exhaust and either of these ecu's *removal of boost restrictor, exhaust keeping factory ecu? Thanks guys
  17. Ah cool. What boost do the 34 GTR's run standard then? around 10p.s.i? Would be interesting to know how much difference it makes over standard ecu and how the mixtures and timing look compared to factory tune.
  18. still for sale?
  19. Im guessing they are more rare than i thought i:-/
  20. Hi guys, I presume there should be quite a few laying around if they haven't been thrown out lol. Im not sure whether GTR, GTS-t, N/A were all the same or if cd player was maybe an option? Its for a 1996 v-spec anyway and all brackets needed etc would be handy too. Thanks
  21. I did own an R34 gtr and my 34 was running pretty much an identical setup to yours and same boost with no issues as i was told the R34 turbos could actually handle more boost despite still being ceramic. I had stock turbos, 720cc injectors, walbro pump, power fc, profec b boost controller, 3" front pipe back exhaust and the car was great fun and tuner said that boost on factory turbos was fine. Never had an issue anyway. -7's should add even more fun for you :-) Im currently in the process of getting an r33 gtr so just doing some research on its limits etc
  22. Still got gtr stainless front pipe? Brand? Size? Thanks
  23. Ok thanks iruvyouskyrine, that is the best response so far to what im actually asking. Im just curious as to whether someone maybe has researched it more, maybe since 1989 has had confirmation from someone who does know or whether its nothing more than a presumption.
