I went for a bit of a drive down to noble maccas shitting my pants id get pulled over and defected. It was funny seeing car after car pulled over though at every set of lights. Was like GTA trying to get away from cops!

As one of the posts stated above, Synergy 8000 is good stuff, I use that all the time plus its the closest servo to me anyway. Any 98 will do, dont know about the united stuff though im not game enough to try...

is the car making any "whining" type of noise. sounds like a rooted clutch to me... is it the stock clutch since you had the car? Put it in 5th gear and try and take off if the car doesn't stall then you have a rooted clutch imo.

Nah the o2 sensor would cause your fuel economy to be shocking, idle variance CAN happen but it's rare. If the problem wasn't present before you put the pod on then its the pod filter. The reason the idle will fluctuate could be that a) the pod isn't on properly b) you didn't put the afm plug back in tightly c) the afm could have picked some crud up and you may need to clean it. Take the pod off and get some brake cleaner into the afm to clean it. Make sure you clamp up the afm tightly and secure the pod so it doesn't move. Hopefully it's all good.

fuel pump mate. does it do it when the car is low on fuel or all the time?

because the ecu in the car expects the air to be plumbed back into the system, but now that air has dissapeared and the car is freaking out You put an atmo bov in the car, car stalls. Nothing to worry about, just remove the block plate and leave it as is. Problem solved.

spotted a gunmetal 33 on station st. fairfield today, i think the plates were BABIA or something. had sau stickers on it.

clean the afm first before anything, it costs nothing and takes about 20 mins. removing/refitting. trust me these cars a LOT of problems can be traced to a dirty/dodgy afm. good luck!
