    Hi, Ive got a ca18det in an S13 engine. Freshly built motor. 3000km since it was put in. Just changed the oil and took it for a run. I need some help diagnosing the noises. I'm hoping another oil might fix the tapping. But any help is appreciated. Cheers Video. Click here

    Yeah I'd agree, at the end of the day its just a number. My main goal is a well balanced and responsive engine. Long term a set of good cams, injectors and a decent turbo should do the trick, maybe even an ATR43G4, who knows.

    Lovely numbers I must say I've decided to go a fully forged bottom end. Keeping the s15 turbo for now. Targets should be around 300hp at break in and after 400+ We figured out after a bit of looking that it was a boost spike that blew the piston rings.

    CA18DET Rebuild or engine swap? Hi All, Recently my current CA18DET just blew up (cracked piston rings) and overheated. Ive got a spare engine lying around with unconfirmed kms (obtained from a previous purchase). My question is what would be the best path for just getting the car going again (and reliably). Should I refurbish the engine back to OEM? or just bolt her up with a new head gasket? Also, if anyone knows who is decent with CA's in Brissy, let me know. Cheers

    Hi Guys, I'm looking at an R32 GTR for sale in Glenroy VIC. Is their anyone down that area that you guys could recommend to have a look over the car and provide a decent report of the mechanical condition of the car? Anyone on here with enough experience could also be valued. Many Thanks, Tom

    I just replaced the brake pads, genuine tie rods and lower control arm... The steering control is that of a brand new off the line car.. Be quick because for this price I have already beat people off.

    Hey everyone, Thought I would start off a thread talking about the potential for Skylines to appreciate in value in the next 10, 20, 30+ years. If it were up to free choice for me I'd have every version, release, update of skyline's in my garage to restore to Original spec. At the end of the day everyone is on here for the passion of skylines, mad respect to this forum

    A picture tells a thousand words, that being said, I believe you should breeze over some photo and video footage i have collected. http://imgur.com/a/PgJK6 The time has come for me to part ways with my beloved 1998 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-Turbo Coupe The odometer readout is 78000 km's This is without doubt the cleanest R34 GT-T you will find in Sydney and the most mechanically sound. I am the first Australian Owner of this car. Subsequently I have made sure to keep the condition and specifications exactly the same to keep the car 100% JDM. This car has been my absolute child, saying that I have taken care of her religiously feeding her the best fuel (Shell VPower) and the finest oils. Feeling the need to maintain her, I took the liberty to add Four Brand new tyres which still have around 90% tread. Here is a guide to the additions made to the car in Japan before myself. - R34 GTR Front Brake Callipers - R34 GTR Electronic Dash - HKS Coil overs - SSR Wheels - 3.5" Exhaust (The tone of the exhaust is not obnoxious, which I have grown to love. It is a solid rich tone, not too loud) Besides these additions, the car is completely stock with a great interior. Reason for selling: - I am in the process of starting up a business with my mates and I need to improve my cash flow. - I am not in the greatest rush to sell the car, as I do have other means for income, that being said, NO LOWBALL offers please. Used in Brisbane for the entirety of its life. - July 2013: The chance came to purchase the car as the first owner wasn't eligible to continue driving this car. I was in need of a car for transport, so I pounced at the chance to get this great steal, however i realise that this Family sized car is only transporting myself, so.. that means I need to downgrade to a smaller car. This car is truly mechanically Grade A1. You will notice the condition as soon as you take it for a drive. Everything is completely factory stock, as it should be. I am offering a great price for this vehicle Scratches/dents: there is one dent in the drivers side door, however this is only cosmetic and is barely visible.
