Thanks heaps guys! I have bought a power fc but, due to a lack of funds, am yet to install it. Does anyone know much about the HKS T3G turbo? Would anyone have a pic so I can compare it to mine and be sure that that is what I have?

Hi all I need help! Recently, my turbo was making funny noises while under heavy acceleration. My tuner advised me to change the turbo as it was on the way out. We installed an HKS T3G turbo because it would be a straight swap bolt in turbo. What I have now found is that under heavy acceleration the car doesn't go as well as it used to and in extreme cases will actually 'bunny hop' violently. I believe this may be due to having too much boost, is this so? I have purchased an Apexi Power FC + Commander and a Hybrid intercooler, but I have been told that I may also need a boost controller. I had intended to keep the car stock and under the advise(?!) of my tuner decided to upgrade to a stronger turbo to increase reliability but could this have damaged the engine? It has become a very costly lesson for me and I just want the car working reliably. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Regards Drift King

I have the same problem with my left rear tail light. I also have a Series 2 R33 and I've been told to take it to a panel beater to reseal the light surround as the black sealant used may wear away after some time. I haven't had time to do this as yet but any further info would be much appreciated. Thanks
