So I removed my turbo heat shield a while back because there was something rattling around in it. Today I drilled out the spot welds and found what the cause was.... The BOV gasket was in there, I have NFI how the previous owner managed that. There was also a massive exhaust leak which I fixed shortly after owning the car. -
How did you determine that it was one of the oil orifices under the cam cap?

Put my new seats in tonight and cleaned the interior - some old v new pics below I did have an issue where the seat belt clippy thingies were wrong between the two sets, I just unbolted and swapped them out. Selling the old seats for a case of beer tomorrow I used this as a chance to thoroughly clean the interior I also spoke to Andrew from Kudos who had a clutch alignment tool couriered to me today. I tossed up between doing the manifold yolks and nuts tonight but I can't be bothered. I think I'll just do it all when the turbo arrives. About three months ago I resealed and rust proofed my whole boot using some different tips from others on here. Doesn't leak one but now! I'm ordering some interior screws this week so I can put the boot back together after I change the fuel pump and do the relay upgrade. I'll be ordering my new clutch from Garage 7 on Wednesday next week also. -

That's an even better idea, I don't know why I didn't think of that. I've been looking at how to do it for Nistunes and it looks to difficult that I thought I better just leave it to JEM to do -
I would be incredibly happy with the power you're putting down from my car. I wouldn't want to go E85 for a while if I get that power. I can't wait for my ATR45SAT to come ^_^

So we are at the $239 mark provided everyone actually sticks to the deal. I'm happy to take said leap of faith should it be this price.

I've tried to keep the packaging for the parts just in case anyone else needs to know the genuine part numbers (Not that there is really anything special here) Flywheel bolts - Ordered to be used when I do the clutch soon Gearbox seal kit - Not sure where two of them go but I'll work it out with the manual when I'm ready Throttle body gasket - Ordered as there isn't currently one Clutch alignment tool - MIA Kudos forgot to deliver by the looks of it? Manifold stud, yolk and nut (deez nuts) set - The back story to this is that when I purchased the car, it had 4 snapped studs and so quite a few yolks were missing. While I have the turbo off, I thought it might be worth changing the nuts and yolks to the correct items. Manifold studs will be saved for another venture. Clutch fork boot - Current one is buggered Things still to come Turbo from Stao (Hypergear) Kompact Plumback BOV Intake Pipe from Scott E85 Line from Scott Things I still need to order Turbo to manifold studs NPC/EXEDY Clutch Replacement Machined Flywheel Pivot ball (Nismo Upgraded) Slave Cylinder Fluids for Clutch Change 740CC Nismo Injectors My planned end date for this is the 10th of November - I would like to have it tuned etc before this date I have Wednesday next week off so expect some action shots coming Thinking of going NPC Cushioned Button clutch, Redline Lightweight Shockproof, GKTECH slave etc etc etc A plan I had recently was to make a plug which means I can quickly change between Z32 and the standard AFM when it goes to JEM for tuning. On end will be the standard wiring and the other which connects to the R33 AFM will be as normal but I'll have a conversion one that connects to the Z32 AFM also. I'll do a diagram/pics when I'm ready. -

Fuel pump came today Z32 and plug came the other day http://s812.photobucket.com/user/kingtube69/media/85F37F44-F70B-4021-B488-196DE8B1012D_zps886foh3n.jpg.html?o=9 For those keen readers, there is an RC battery charger in the background, I have an offroad RC buggy we take out often. Turbo is due tomorrow or the next day then I'll order an NPC clutch, injectors, intake and a few other shiny bits soon. I'm having trouble getting hold of someone from NPC to assist with my clutch decision but no one is getting back to me... Their service seems pretty bad. I've also hit up Kudos for some other shiny bits and waiting for a response. -
R33 Stock Turbo, Stock Injectors, 1200Cc Injectors, Cluster
kingtube69 replied to p_stew's topic in Classifieds
what brand are the 1200 cc injectors and do you have pics? -
Correct ^ There is an article around here somewhere about it.
-
I would also like to know if you can use the stock airbox. I would like to leave as little chance for the cops to look at me as possible even if the pod is closed in.
-
Can anyone confirm what stud size is required for the ATR45 on the stock manifold? I've read it's either M10x1.5x40mm or M10x1.5x50mm TIA
