I'd be straight onto these if I owned a GTR or they were in a narrower size. Good luck with your sale - Beautiful wheels! -

I'm on holidays from work at the moment so I'm using the time to catch up on things that I have been neglecting with my car. I pulled the intercooler off today and bought some acetone to clean out the core as well as some good polish to clean up the pipe work and end tanks. Pulling everything apart 8L Acetone - Didn't even use a whole 4L Before During After I found that if you use superfine steel wool then polish again it comes up nicely. I've also been getting some kms up on the tires and have done around 4000 so far. These are still by far the best that I have ever had. A last note is that I am tossing up between doing a few things in the coming months with my car - Paint or diff. Not sure where to really start though -

Spotted a few 33s this weekend - Silver one yesterday near Springwood but didn't catch the plates (will not mention where exactly because it pulled into a driveway and I would hate anyone publicly disclosing where I live). Memorable plates on a 33 GTR - 33RSKY on the GWH turning towards reservor road Blacktown. -

Thread hijack, I bought one of the eBay ball joint presses like Johnny used on his post here http://www.trak-life.com/diy-hicas-delete-hicas-eliminator-kit/ Chucked my AEG battery impact on the back of it after cutting the faces of the ball joints flat and out they came. Total of 20 mins a side including cutting - Had more issues with my camber arms than the elimination kit. If you need more details send me a PM and I can help. -
Tyres you use(d) and how u would rate them

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 (Initial review) Dry Grip: 9/10 Wet Grip: 9/10 Value for money: 8/10 Wear: NFI yet I swapped from the Rotalla to the MPS4 and there is a massive difference, so much more predictability and so much more stability in the wet. So far I have done about 500kms and they don't disappoint. I'll post an update eventually once I have wound up some more kms on the tyres. -
Mate had the same issue with his 33 when he had a Davies Craig clutch too. I swapped it with an old spare I had and never looked back.

I had heaps of problems getting my GKTECH bushing in. So much that I removed it and binned it. I messaged GKTECH about it and they were pretty dismissive. Did you end up putting your hicas elim in your car BTW? -

Been driving the car around for 10 days now without any issues except a little scrub on the front when I hit bumps because the guards aren't rolled at all. I'll look at getting a roller over the next few days to do it or pay someone if i can't be bothered. -

Tyres and alignment are done - Car feels like a completely different car. No more bullshit tram lining and tracking and so much grip. I did have to raise it on all corners but man it feels so good. The aligner was very experienced and the staff took extra care with my car I would definitely recommend Jax in Penrith -

Camber lockout kit arrived from GKTECH the other day and I installed it when I got home in about 30 minutes. The bolts that were on the car were definitely stuffed. Booked my car in to get a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4s fitted as well as a full alignment. The whole time I have had this car I've been buying cheapies and only ever had one alignment so this should make a massive difference in conjunction with the coilovers, adjustable arms, hicas lockout and camber lockout. The main result I am looking for is some progressiveness and stability in the rain especially being that we are nearing the end of summer (not to say that we won't still have dry days). During wet days my car aqua planes a lot and slides a lot which doesn't instill much confidence at all. I'll probably end up posting a detailed review once I have had them on for a while. -
I cut a spanner in half then got a larger spanner on the back of it for leverage. Just enough room to turn it with the cut in half spanner after you break it loose.

Thanks Josh, I appreciate you organising them for me! Not sure when It will get an alignment, hopefully in the next few days. Do you have any recommendations on shops to do the alignment? I won't be going to the place we all went to last time unless I want to get jacked up again. -

Ended doing the ball joints on jack stands because I didn't want to inconvenience my mate. The HICAS ball joints were actually easier to change than the camber arms because of the stupid eccentric washers on the stock camber bolts. Old ball joints were beyond stuffed Cut the old ones flush in order to be able to press the joints out Using a ball joint press with no attachments I managed to press the joints out using my battery impact gun. After doing 1 and a half of them the 5 AH battery died lol New ball joint in I couldn't separate the ball joint and the arm so I cut it straight off with the angle grinder - It's getting scrapped anyway Farewell HICAS!!!! Lastly I installed the camber arms, as mentioned these were a massive pain in the ass. I spent more time on these than the HICAS ball joints. Did a quick DIY alignment with rope and jack stands then took the car out and it feels completely different. By far the biggest improvement following the coilovers. I'll book an alignment in for the next few days and get some new tires while I'm at it. Ive also ordered some Camber lockout washers and bolts from GKTECH because the ones I struggled with aren't in the best condition anymore Bonus video! -
Brilliant! Just ordered a set and I'll give them a go. Thank you!

So stealth that I didn't even notice it there ---------- An update regarding the suspension work, I haven't had a chance to remove the hicas yet because I wanted to drive it this weekend and removing the hicas means I probably shouldn't drive it without an alignment. I did however take it for a drive tonight to Woolongong Lighthouse which meant travelling on some sh!t road surfaces - Happy to report that I no longer have incredible bump steer and the car is much more direct in its steering feel - guess the flogged out tie rod ends were a big contributor to this. Ordered a ball joint press off eBay which should come this week, I still haven't decided if I'll use that or just take it to a mates shop and press them out of the knuckles. If they will let me use the hoist for a few hours I'll just do it there else I will do it at home. I'll share some pics when I decide what to do and finally pull the hicas out. I'm interested to see the results after I remove it considering all of the ball joints for it are flogged out and knocking. Can anyone comment on adjustable traction arms? Are they worth the money? -
Had a mate with the same problem when he had his PFC tuned. Took it back and the tuner sorted it out.

You're right I messaged Trent about this on Facebook and he said it is definitely a normal cooler with custom return flow style piping for the stock appearance. Scotty also mentioned that it's possible to make a normal cooler work with standard pipes (no cutting) but it's custom and needs to route around the radiator. The other issue that Trent mentioned about this Stagea was that there was 5psi+ of back pressure and by simply removing the cat it picked up better response and more power. This is why Tao says if you're having power issues to drop the cat and that will tell you if its an issue also. Hope this helps get you in the right direction.
