Just wondering if anyone has bought a silicone coolant hose kit off Ebay? JustJap only seem to have kits for RB26 on their website, but I'm after RB20t. They are almost $300 for the JJR kit, & around $150+post from China, with 'made in china' quality I guess? Anyone know if Nissan do a normal rubber kit, or do you just need individual part numbers? Are they expensive? Any info on what others have done would be good, I've just had the timing belt/tensioners/water pump done & now the old original hoses can't handle good pressure, with a leak down near the starter motor already. On a bit of a budget, so thinking of just getting my mechanic to do the ones above the starter motor(looks like it needs to come out to get access?) & just doing the rest myself. cheers

I have just bought myself a Skyline again ( ) It came with some bits that I don't want. Autometer ''Cobalt Boost Buage, in great condition, still in car. Just dust on the face, didnt think my phones camera was that good. They're in the current Autobarn catalogue for $119.00. I'll take $80.00 TurboSmart Boost-T. This is in used condition, was in the boot of the car when I bought it, not fitted to it. Dón't know how they work or what they're worth. $25.00 Sony Xplod 8" Sub and Amp. Not the best condition, fits in the boot of an R32. Sony Amp says ''Sony 2/1 Channel XM222 Made in Japan" $40.00? Would really prefer pick up, from Blacktown. Just post on here or pm me. Thanks

There is a place called Plastifusion, on Sunnyholt rd Blacktown. (next to Charlestone Exhaust Shop) They do headlight repairs & plastic welding for heaps of smash shops. I don't know their number, but might be worth looking them up/giving them a call ? I got them to weld some bits for me a while ago, no probs.

We called it a day when the rain came down at lunch today, it was hard enough keeping the 240z in a straight line yesterday (opposite lock is fun but not fast!) & the 2nd hand semi slicks were pretty much had it by yesterday arvo. For a national event it wasnt really all that great, but at least it was a chance to run E.C. for the first time. Its a great track, nice & wide, flowing & technical, just could'nt get turn 2, no matter what we tried, it just ended up in body roll sideways action I had the terratrip on(yes it is a dirt/rally car) & counted 200+ competive kms with the 2 of us driving. Once we worked out where the track went we both got down to 2.01, now considering redoing suspension/lowering and getting a descent tarmac set up to use the cars potential. Hope to run a few more next year & can recommend Eastern Creek to anyone thinking of running it, totally different to Wakefield & Oran Park.

Great to see a good variety of JDM coolness on a tops sunny Sunday Unfortunatley I seemed to get left behind by the first 10 or so cars (who seemed to be in a bit of a hurry? to get a spot at the end?) and for some reason the other cars all dropped way back? so I drove along by myself until I cought the dude in the lhd 2 door 510 (who luckily knew where to go) & just drove by ourselves half the way Definatley a great idea & good work to the organisers, hopefully will get even bigger & better next time!
